Unplug yourself
And in that stark still shade
Enjoy the glory of your imaginings -
Often conceived, rarely nurtured,
Scarcely shared
Or allowed to thread through the laughter
Of the warm flickering shadows
Of hearth and home.
Give voice and shape and colour
To every faint ember
And you - will - soar.
How will you hear your own thoughts if you are always plugged into other people's voices.  Seek space and stillness to think.

“I’m your wave – I told her –
Lay your head right here,
Softly on my shoulder.
Let your thoughts roam free.”

“You’re my air – she told me –
You’re my life and sun.
Singly we are nothing.
Allied we are one.”

“I’m your fire – I uttered –
Burning bright and mild.”
“That be true“ – she muttered,
Slender, sound and wild.

When we are together,
Nothing holds us down
The unwashed may blather,
Let them laugh and frown.

Floating through the cosmos
On a marble blue,
With the odds against us,
We make dreams come true.

Fresh from the oven. Methinks I messed up the punctuation, namely - direct speech - big time but I do hope it's legible.
Dream on, butterflies!

I want to create
I want to create
But I don't need to
Not right now

I want to create
Blue
Just cause it smells like you
Just because that's what we agreed you were

I want to create
And I've sat in our conversations
Green
Purple
Like I sat in her mouth

I wanna create like that
My fingers (talons) toying with her tongue
I'm telling her to talk
I want the sensation of talking
T T T T Talking, Telling
Mechanics of T T T T Telling
My fingers (roots)
I wanna create like that

And now
Blue
I think of my fat fingers (snakes) inside of you
I want to create
I want to create you
Green
Purple
I'm telling you to talk - right now

I know what to do.
I felt like I needed to write a new poem, so I started writing.
But this poem became about something very old, I don't think I've created anything new here.

If I die, don't cry for me.
If you live, I smile.
Take the pride, the honesty,
Walk the royal mile.

Gently push the boundaries
Set in place by fools.
Let the love and harmony
Be your trusty tools.

Spread the word of unity
Everywhere you go.
Let your inner purity
Never lose its glow.

Be the peace you seek on earth,
Chase your wildest dreams...
If I die, don't cry for me.
Nothing's what it seems.

Hello and welcome
This is my mind
Sorry for the mess
When I think, this is where the thoughts go
and most of the time this is where they stay
I'd like to say I know where everything is
but that would be a lie
I know that my ideas are somewhere by the door
I was planning on taking them out and putting them on display
I guess I forgot to get around to it
Now where did I put those thoughts I never said?
Oh well.
Here are some memories
but I guess they got damaged when I made room for more
That giant stack over there?
the one that takes up a fourth of the room?
Those are song lyrics
No, I didn't make those.
I just like them.
What was I looking for?
Well shoot.
I guess I'll just come back later
if I remember to remember
Oh?
What did you find?
That?
It's just a little something I wrote up
You can go ahead and take it if you want
It's just a reminder to Organize the Noise
This place just gets so crowed
It feels like the place is going to explode sometimes
So you can take that
There are some things that I just shouldn't keep in
A stream of consciousness

To heal
is to create

To heal is to create a
new and improved version
of what was left in a pile of
shattered emotions

To heal is to break free
from the chains
that held you back
for so long

To heal is to learn
how to breathe again

To heal is to
feel alive
and to start anew

To heal is to become
a masterpiece;
a mosaic of pain and heartache,
reimagined into the most beautiful
thing to have ever existed

Sometimes when I set my pen to paper, I have no idea what will appear.

Swoops and swirls.

And backward twirls.

My mind has created once again.

Every time I look out my window
My mind vividly paints
And projects such fascinating imagery
In Reality there's nothing to look at
But I've surpassed reality
I have left behind the dull and boring
The pain no longer stings
The pain no longer haunts me
No need to force a smile
The smile is already there
No need to look for happiness
The happiness was always there

In this chair is where I'll be,
It is where I will be when I write the grandest novel.
In this chair is where I'll be,
It is where I will string together the most magnificent predicate,
I will sow my words to make the most wonderful sentences.
In this chair is where I'll be when I watch it all come together,
A Voyer to the construction of a spider web of fiction,
Spun so gracefully.
It is a lot to behold in such a chair,
a chair in which chafes the fringe of my buttocks.
A chair that wails.
It is very old, and its cracks are showing,
for after all it is little more than a dying tree,
mutilated for our comfort, though,
it has become my own discomfort,
In this chair is where I will be,
When I purchase a new Chair,
and the that is where I will be......

You
i love how brave you are,
for loving others even when
you were the one who needed it most.
the room lights up
wherever you walk,
like you are made of the sun.
3 a.m. calls are the best;
they are the ones
that spark a fire in your soul
and fuel the passion in your eyes.
you made a home in my heart
and a garden in my lungs,
and the flowers you planted in me
filled me with curiosity.
the day we met,
i fell in love with your mind
and then your lips.
your fingers are so gentle
when they dance across
my skin.
your words give me life
like i’m drowning
and i need air.
you are art;
carefully created with
the things you hate the most
about yourself,
but those things are my favourite.
