Tiny little particles fall from the sky
Collecting on our windows like freezing time
Small or big covering the space
Creating a beautiful masterpiece of grace

let's sit on top of the building
kiss under the lights of the city
look me in the eyes and tell me i'm pretty

take my hand and we'll walk along the edge
forget the day that we met
stay together no matter what we get

crowns of steel and headlights
we know we'll be alright
stay with me tonight

wind and hands in my hair
shining stars everywhere
running up the stairs

dancing on the fire escape
get it all on tape
buildings fade into blurry shapes

overwhelming and revealing
this amazing feeling,
this ache i crave, this desire,
this emotion you inspire.

Beautiful, unexpected, never to part,
a collision between two hearts,
passionate and pure.
this is love for sure.
-love, carson.

my soul is branded,
your name etched in.
The iron cools in the corner,
name partially fading.
I’m no blacksmith,
but I know better than to
let the iron cool before our business
is finished.
I ENVY YOU.
I begrudge your careless way of seeing life,
how you come, and where you go away quite soon.
You enjoy your food and drink and never deem
where your lives are going to and their hard atrife.

I imagine all the world and who live on
are transferred to my own shoulders which can't bear
my own weight that exhausts me with my small mind,
which is lacking needed scope to make things known.

I refuge to what, some think, is not so sure,
to discern a picture that brings me a smile,
but the people refute me, giving no clue
just increasing agonies that none can bear.

his words were like honey
sweet to my ears and dripping from his lips
yet his words were sticky to the touch
they flowed from his mouth and engulfed me in the sweet grasp

'in-between breaths,
it dances its story!
within heart bathed in an everlasting union,
'I' needn't justify this joy,
nor its precious glory.'
