And here we are in yesterday's tomorrow,
Meeting the runway with our brows furrowed.

The crumbled clothes we ironed for a long night's sleep,
And the out of tune vibrations we sang with our knees.

We drenched the sheets with inflammable imagination,
And the early aroma of the sun set fire to our expectations.

So here we are in yesterday's tomorrow,
With the near future's dreams to borrow.

We bring out the suits that the fire didn't ruin,
Because nine o'clock always comes way too soon.

And soon enough the clicking sound of our shoes on the pavements,
Will leave no further room in our mind for that fantasy fragrance.

Welcome to yesterday's tomorrow, yes the timing is impaired,
Empty both your hands, never come to this day prepared.

I don't want to look up
At a starless night
Where the moon is absent
And silence deafens the sky
The wolves are mute
On this darkest night

I want to talk to you so bad
So so badly
But I can't

I want you to hold me
Tell me everything is going to be okay
But you won't

How come I think of you
When times are dark and blue?
You'd surely know what to do

I would hold your hand until the storm in my head calms down
And we would smile and know that nothing can destroy us
But we won't
And we never will
We all paint our lives.
The mountains of challenges,
The rivers of tears,
The waterfalls of joy.

We mix the colours of sorrow and laughter
And add the colours of experience and the years that passed.
The souls we will always remember
And the moments we will never forget.

I dreamt of you
in clouds of blue,
and woke
when the clock
struck two.
I looked to see you
through hues of violet,
standing in the springtime dew.
She was there above you
kissing you softly,
and calming your midnight woos.
She knows your desires,
and pulls at your heart
she is a goddess
to the darkness in you.
I can not compete
for your heart
she does keep
above with the
stars in the sky.
I know how you love her,
her beauty
like no other
I can see it in
your emerald eyes.

Pastel skies and chilly dark nights,
this is life for a wildflower like me.
Sitting by the fire full of hopes and desires,
longing to once again feel free.

Seldom do I feel free with my roots deeply entangled in you.
***** and drugged.
Kissed but not hugged.
Naked and tied.
Me he had tried to buy.
Forgotten from amnesia
For 11 years.
2005.
The person is no longer alive.
But the bodyguard to blame.
They took his will when they came.
I had no memory of going to Minnesota.
He wanted to marry me the Purple Yoda.
True story.

how lovely was it,
to be held in his arms,
perhaps i was too small,
and his forearm stretched
across my stomach,
but my love for him was
far larger than he.
wrote this a few months ago about my now ex ; its still a decent poem.
