The moon rose up
and the moon looked down
She’s watched the Earth
spin round and round

And kingdoms rose
and empires fell
The moon just waxed
and waned a spell

Her one bright eye
has seen it all —
she’ll still be there
long after we fall
All I want is a bridge to the clouds
so I could climb up, high and away,
to loose myself from gravity’s bounds
and float above humanity’s frays.

Let my mind be a kite to catch the wind
and pull me up to the light above,
freed from the weight that kept me pinned
instead of gliding like a carefree dove.
You read my poetry,
then turned away,
as if the words
had nothing to say.
Each line was a pulse,
it was a part of me,
yet you drift on past,
too blind to see
that my verses ache,
hoping to be heard,
yet silence lingers,
louder than each word.
The ink may fade,
but my feelings remain,
as I laid my heart bare,
was it all in vain?

It is not goodbye.
it is just see you later...
that's much easier.

knit
the coffee is brewing,
i hear the clock ticking
the vendors outside, doing their part selling
birds calling out to their mates and their mates, responding.
Everything that’s happening around me, I can sense clearly
But what will happen to you and me?
I wish we had eternal clarity.

The coffee did brew, leaving an essence in the air
But the clock is refusing to tick;
refusing to let this moment pass by
giving me chances that I'm refusing to take
chances to be stuck in the moments our eyes met
the vendor's curious silence
curious to see if I'll make a move
the birds and their mates are quiet now
Waiting for us to say to each other-
“I love you..”

Rubbed
Hand polished

Too slick still
For slow barnacle.

Bright brass-
Her bell already
Salvaged (stolen)

Before she clapped
