Mornings are a sacred time
For me.
It's the time I'm most vulnerable
Raw and rare.
It’s the time I seek God,
And speak to Him face-to-face.
It's the time when I hold His hand
And He leads me back
To the Garden,
Free to be seen.

I wish I didn't care so much about people,
I wish I wasn't so nice like I am,
I wish I didn't get hurt over things I shouldn't,
I wish I didn't have the heart I have because all it does is hurt my mind and soul,
I wish I had a heart of coal not a heart of gold.
That's the heart I wish I had sometimes
You say my grades don’t matter.
You say, “I love you no matter what.”
Then why am I invisible?
Why do they only see the red numbers on my sheet?

You ask me, “Is everything fine?”
What do you expect me to say —
that I’m f**d up?
That I dream about leaving?
That I keep a blade in my front pocket?

You say I don’t share,
but you don’t pay attention.
I play the piano till my fingers bleed,
I scream songs that reflect me,
I even talked to you.

Maybe it’s because you liked me,
never loved me.
Maybe I’m so flawed I can’t see,
or maybe it’s both.
Maybe we’re both flawed —
we’re only human.
can you hear me?

All alone
by the noon,
softly humming
an old tune.

Eyes that drift
toward the moon,
air is still,
a bit too cool.

No more tools,
just quiet bloom—
a soul unfolding
in its room.
DNA
And if all words
aren't enough to describe
how much I love you.
I'd use my blood as an ink to this pen.
For you to know,
that even if I have nothing to write.
The poetry written
within me,
is you.
the saddest part of dying
is what you forgot to do
the ideas born in lucid dreams
that vanished in the hue
the mountains never seen
the oceans never crossed
the poems written on scraps of paper
a lover's smile now lost
the tears you held inside
the chances never taken
the landscape of your life
an oasis now forsaken

Today is tomorrow's yesterday
Today is yesterday's tomorrow
My half life in past and in future
I don't know much about today,
the very same day,
what about now.
Different versions of today.

You disappeared,
Emotionally -- like a breath --
With no goodbyes;
or observable changes

You disappeared,
Instantly
Like life
--when death had paid a visit --

your sandalwood scent,
Streams of roses,
And sweet smiles
Simmer in my summer memories.

I know what we have isn't gone

Because if it was

It would have stopped hurting
