Here's something that I want you to have
It's a piece of my heart
A little bit of me
Maybe we can work on it
If you take it carefully

A little bit of love
Could really help
My world just fell apart
And I've been stalling on somebody to love

So take this broken piece
And we can work on it
I could give you all of me
But we can create something special
With just this bit
I have the rest of the chipped broken pieces
And slowly we can fix the rest

You and I can create a place to belong
Where I can open up my mind
If I make you feel loved
Please don't neglect it
My smile is only because of yours

All we have is just a part of me and you
Let's hope we never finish
Painting the living room

You've stoked a flame that will never fail
It's a warmth that I will fondly feel
I hope you and I will become something real

Poetry is a quirk of the soul
A seamless song of connections
Where the word rules its truth
And  its spirit encounters you

How I wish I could rewind time
I would give every dime,

Go back to the days of bliss
Sealed with true love's kiss

But it wasn't true
Just affection out of the blue

Like a storm it comes and goes
And leaves with great tremendous loss

You are the storm
From my tears you took its form

I am the ground
And in your gentle touch of rain I was found

We're still kids,
Don't you see?
I'm still sitting on the staircase,
Listening to you scream,
Waiting until it's safe to fall asleep.

My life has turned into moments on the staircase,
Heart tense,
Hands over my ears,
Biting back tears,
Wanting it to end.
filth filth filth filth
******* filthy
we're all ******* filthy
rolling in the mud
of infinite cesspools
we're all disgusting
******* repugnant
dump us in the oceans of
radioactive wormwood
dump us in the ocean
and the drugs
in our filthy blood
are filthy filthy filthy
cleanse us all
with salt
salt the filthy earth
salt the filth
make it delicious

'Why not a happy poem?
To smile the day away.
Why not? I could use it, so can you.
Why not a happy poem?
About flowers and blue skies.
Tell me darling, why not a happy poem?'

Watching the stars
It’s like looking into your eyes
A tear starts to fall
You left and gave us scars

The memory of you lingers on in my mind
I don’t understand why you would hide
You were the king
Your name repeating in my head like a song

I always knew there would come a time
A time that we would have to say goodbye
But I never expected it to be this way
You were caught up in a lie

Even if you made mistakes
We all still loved you
The biggest mistake was when you left
No word, no noise, it was silent

If you were to have just asked for a helping hand
It was just one simple step to make
Instead you kept it - that’s when it went bad
That’s when you made your biggest mistake

Now there is nothing left of you
And it’s now the time we have to accept
Because there is nothing we can undo
I know you wouldn’t want us to be upset

You were surrounded by love
Even if they didn’t share your blood
You were family to them
To us

Everyone says I’ll get over it
But I know I’m not
How can someone forget?
About someone so amazing as you

People think it's just one other person's death
But it was yours

Stop.
Hello. I'm Sam.
And I'd just like to say
that I hope your day
was as good as mine.
