I don't wish
for myself to die,
but I wish that
I was never born
I wouldn't die
after I'm broken,
but I'd be dead
before I'm torn

Sit with me in silence.
Hold my hand with the hand
Of your mind.

I'll be your shadow; you be mine.
We'll rest in two dimensions.
Watch ourselves in 3D.

Safe in the warmth of
Our common intentions. A womb,
A room for you and me.

Let's communicate like mountains;
Be like solid, silent giants.
Sit with me in silence.

A river dug into purest stone after
Uncountable years reflecting
Sunlight, moonlight, stars and blue

Skies unrejecting. Dark clouds too,
In some divine alliance.

*And deep within it's deepest deep,
Two single, uncut diamonds.
Until we're ground to grains of sand,
Sit with me in silence.

She's in the kitchen
(close the door)
just mixin' up some metaphor;
a true conundrum
through and through
and through to me and thus to you.

Her humble hunger
(forest's slumber)
thunders 'neath a wilting tune;
tuned to too many
to count without
a thought within.

She must profess
(but shall confess)
to any who will listen;
closely she holds
a tragic history
mostly mystery to most.

She solves my soul
(I deny that hole)
which she still fills;
overflowing always
with such unrelenting joy
that is My Love.

Why is there a little boy lying on the beach?
Washed up.
Lifeless.
All for a new life too far to reach?

Why is there a little boy lying on the beach?
Terrorists
Heartless.
What happened to the human rights we all preach?

Why is there a little boy lying on the beach?
Traffickers.
Gangs.
Displacing people no home and no speech.

Why is there a little boy lying on the beach?
A son.
No future.
We hang our heads and weep!
Broken hearted and deeply affected by pictures I saw in the news depicting the lifeless body of a little boy no older than three who was photographed washed up on the shore line of Turkey. The result of further illegal human smuggling, people trafficking promising to get families to Europe on a false promise. All too often, people are put into small boats unable to sustain the weight of all the people put upon it and not fit for purpose. This is yet another shocking event in the wake of atrocities taking place in North Africa where the displacement of millions of innocent people continues. Governments are too busy counting the pennies and quarrelling amongst themselves in addition to wasting precious time as gangs and smugglers take advantage of the situation by sending people to their death profiting from the desperation of families searching for a place to call home. When will this end? RIP to the little boy, his brother and mother who all perished.
Beautiful your face
that mask you wear

but I can see the tears
the face you hide

between the stains
behind the smiles
a blackening

laughing like cries
silently screaming

a crack in the Great Divide
of who you are
and what the world will see

I woke up today
thinking that I may
call you and just say
that I no longer care.

the truth is that I do
my heart still roots for you,
wishing yours would too
not wander towards blue.

I get crazy mad
thinking that you kept
staring at some babe
touching yourself and yet

knowing that I do
wait **** next door for you
laying in the bed
in despair and sad.

it’s no big deal to you
that’s just what you do
to make yourself get through
the stuff life has for you.

I'm far from happiness
for me this is no bliss
and so my fury keeps
whispering me to “kiss”

for all the chewing why
you sound and sad goodbye.

and then I lie and say
that maybe it’s okay
life is more than gray
I bite my tongue and stay.

I woke up today
thinking that I may
call you and just say
that I no longer care.

The Wordsmith
I loved you when the summer began,
Their shimmering rains couldn't compare to your grace,
I loved you during the setting of the autumn sun,
When the winter moon held no candle to your face,
I loved you through the four seasons of winter,
And not even the cold could keep you at bay,
You watched me fall and saw my heart splinter,
You worked on me and put me back together,
And when the summer rolled by again,
You walked away, and left me insane.

Your love spills over me so gracefully,
with no effort, I fell with you so fast
and every darkness fades.

Peacefully asleep in my arms, breathing
kissing your sweet hands as they lay in mine
nothing could keep me from you.

So small, so frail you saved me, gave me life
your smile, precious is all I ever need
promising me only joy and love

after love.
