Keeps pulling me in

It's about to begin

Leaning close to me
   Sighing

Stepping a little closer not done
   Trying

Leaves my body
   Quaking

My soul
   Shaking

Speaking honey dripped words
   Breathtaking

Perfection for awhile never
   Swaying

Waiting for a sign that he is
   Faking

When it is shown it will be
  Heartbreaking

My heart is his for the
  Taking

Still pulling me in

Going to let it begin

Ignore the side of me that is use to
   Denying

Mute the voice as it whispers, "One of you is Lying."
Sometimes you have to leave the one you love
to find yourself through other people
Like letting go of a dove
in order to stop looking at the mirror through a peephole
How long is now
This moment
Will last a lifetime

How long is now
My body endures the hours

But my mind took a halt

As soon as I entered the hall
I stopped minding the clock.

I shut my eyes
The goosebumps never lie

I awake in paradise
The soul dancing to the bass.

I lose myself
As much as find

Exactly who I am.

The music becomes
My second skin
I look around and
You too, have the same discipline

How long is now

We are infinite in this crowd

Then, I will remember your smile
Your heart sounds just like mine in Berghain.
There's a place I know where the birds swing low,
And wayward vines go roaming,
Where the lilacs nod, and a marble god
Is pale, in scented gloaming.
And at sunset there comes a lady fair
Whose eyes are deep with yearning.
By an old, old gate does the lady wait
Her own true love's returning.

But the days go by, and the lilacs die,
And trembling birds seek cover;
Yet the lady stands, with her long white hands
Held out to greet her lover.
And it's there she'll stay till the shadowy day
A monument they grave her.
She will always wait by the same old gate, --
The gate her true love gave her.

Sin
You often subside from my mind,
Like spring tide;
Ferociously in, suddenly out,
Resistant to the crooning of the moon,
Sheltered in your own lunacy-
Stepping to your own tune.

I long to love you evermore,
But your grasp is not tepid,
Simple motions don’t shelter I
From splitting in the storm.
You seize safety-
But like the tide, you subside.

I feel as if the glow meant
To reside resonates somewhere far,
In two meeting once again-
The sleepy kiss from a listless lover.
We are the waves crushing one another.
The mouth
does mysterious things
tasting your skin
like wine
your fluid lost down
my throat
I kiss you in
deliberate licks
the musk in shadows
divine intervention
rises and falls like
soft petals
and wet as rain...

Love
how does one love a poet?
between the lines of their spoken words
and their haiku's.
a jumbled nonsense to an untrained ear
but a masterpiece
to the ones who take your poems
the ones they've studied
and they dissected
because they find them*  almost
as beautiful
as the way your soul shines
when you coin a poem
about the one who
coins their poems
about you.

*the delicate intertwining process of loving a poet.
I'm in love with you and all your little things.
