My Dear Poet
I have a bag full of money
Filled only with paper notes
it’s not really all that heavy
Infact, It’s so light it often floats
So I’m glad I don’t carry
The weight of the rich
on my back
because life would be so scary
weighed down by a sack
I’d rather be up and airy
strung along by a balloon
Flying up like a fairy
Scattering money from the moon

I wrote this poem that i will never let you read.
I'm still sorry for everything i did.
Saw you moved forward and found someone better.
Your smiles we're different now,
not like when we were together.

I pray for you every night;
for your peace, forgiveness and love.
Things I'm not sure i can have.
To the most sincerest soul i ever did met.
Thank you for the memories that i will never forget.

Holy smoke!

This is a drag.

Nevertheless,
I've come to depend upon it.

A lover wins the heart.
A poet steals it!

I've never really been mesmerized by brown eyes
but today when i looked up and saw you staring
i was amazed and at a loss for words
now i can't get them out of my head
and i'm in a constant state of awe
jesus, why am i so stuck on your eyes?
why do they have to feel like home?
why do i have to crush on you so much?

walk barefoot,
on the sand of a thousand needles
disincline to rue,
detains all the blue
Pull through by himself

the greatest in my life,
strongest god of war,
my dad

She controls her laughter,
lets it slip from the edge of her mouth,
the corners of her lips lift ever so slightly,
then, she makes a sound,
seamlessly, her fingers graze my thighs,
smoothly, her eyes meet mine,
and in her eyes, I see my reflection—
aflame, abashed, and fiery,

She is the answer I’ve scoured the world for,
and yet, she, herself, remains a mystery,

Ah, I see,
She controls her laughter
as easily as she controls me.
