It's funny how it works,
Easy said, hard to do,
But He asks us for our trust...
What restrains you?

Is it the fear of the unknown?
The darkness of sin?
The pain of failure?
Or your demons within?

I really can't tell you,
How to take a leap of trust,
But if you want to succeed in life,
My friend, you simply must.
Hard stuff.

There's a little thing inside us,
That's prepared to take the world,
The perseverance ringing true,
Despite the evils hurled.

It's a powerful little creature,
Something from above,
Sitting deep inside our hearts,
A little thing called love.
A love poem because reasons. ^-^

The sunlight glowing in the summer eve,
The dewdrops in the morn,
Holding hands on the sandy beach,
A pinkie promise being sworn.

These are all the little things,
(The way your ice cream swirls,)
That give us joy and pleasure,
Those little red ribbon curls.
The little things in life. :)

It's slowly getting colder, our love does bump along,
Like an apple on a vine, we know there's something wrong.
But through our darkness, fruits will ripen, and the harvest will begin,
The beauty of all we've made this year, our glories and our sin.
I decided to express the seasons as love poems.

We're sitting on the beach, our love does not grow dim,
Like the sunset on the skyline, pretty but faint and grim.
We're like it's brighter rays, not the setting part at all,
We're lingering in this summer, until we come to Fall.
I decided to express the seasons as love poems.

I hope to see you dear! I'm on this hill of green,
I forgive you for the horrors of winter, and the pain you didn't mean.
We have a fresh start, you and I us both,
Finally we see the light. We're strengthened in new growth.
I decided to express the seasons as love poems.

How can I go on, when I know you've let me go?
When all around is biting cold and bitter snow?
I was warm and you left me here, on this cold mountain *****,
I'm sitting here in sorrow, is there any hope?
I decided to express the seasons as love poems.
