O wat zou ik graag
Mijn herinneringen
Aan stukken rijten
Om ze vervolgens
Op een zomermiddag
Buiten op een kleedje
Stilletjes uit te zoeken
Om dan uiteindelijk
De door mij
Zorgvuldig uitgekozen
Momenten
Weer aan elkaar te plakken
Alsof het is
Een oude filmrol
Zodat ik die op
Mijn allerlaatste dag
Af zou kunnen spelen

I've fallen
And i don't know if its in love;
I love your laugh and the way you never half smile
I love the way you grin with all your teeth and both dimpled cheeks
I love the way you care about me,
even though it hurts you.
Ive fallen
And its definitely for you,
but i don't know if you can catch me
before i get hurt.

She sat alone in her big red chair
This world was more than she could bear

She sat so still as if paralyzed
You could see the sorrow in her eyes
She did not want to move
Afraid if she did she would fall apart
Limb by limb down to her broken heart

So she continued to sit in her big red chair
Wondering how life could be so unfair

Will she ever move again
Or has she finally reached her end

I wonder of living in a life, in a home,
scattered with open books rewriting the future as it unfolds.
With no empty picture frames and nothing wasted on a blanket of dust.
Bliss, relaxation, and a comfort you can trust.

Two toothbrushes and an unmade bed fit for the sweetest.

And no matter what, knowing that everyday is the best day of my life.

My star

Your the star I wanna wake up to
You're my star
The star no one can take from me
The bright star that guides me through the dark
The one that lightens my night
The star that shows me what true beauty is

I open my arms with acceptance,
With every minute that passes,
I get feelings of spring,
So I can merge with your masses;

As distant as the sky,
As blue as the sea,
You wide green field,
Only you I am eager to see.

You ask me,
I say “Nothing”,
That is the key,
I’m just rushing;

I think of the sea,
And of the sky,
I think of the bee,
That’s on the pie;

I think of the stars,
And how they move,
I think of the bars,
When I’m in the groove;

I think of nature,
And how it grows,
I think of the flavour,
Of something that’s gross;

“What’s on my mind?” You ask,
“Nothing” I say,
That’s just my mask,
It’s just a play;

In my state of
Unconscious rest

In my dreams

I always find you
Waiting for me

You never leave

But upon opening
These tired eyes

Is this reality?

You disappear
Without a goodbye

I'll forever return

Passing the time
Until I can see you

*Knowing you'll wait
I wonder if
I'm in your dreams too
