That girl has a beautiful soul
And if you are lucky enough to have her
You **** well better appreciate that about her
...she's my best friend.
Hurt her, and I impale you. :)

Repost if you are fiercely (and occasionally slightly terrifyingly) protective of your best friends
Please comment I love to read interpretations of my work!

My face is grave and unchanging
Like that of a marble statue
You attack me with your words
You scrutinize my flaws
Your voice devours my identity and shreds it
Your distain at what I am claws at my insecurities
You call me pathetic, you try to get a rise out of me
But I staring straight forward
Eyes open, yet unseeing
Ears hearing, but not listening
You scream my name
Over
And over
And over
I appear to be shrouded in darkness
Unreachable
Distant
Frozen in time
At last the echoes of my name snag my attention
I turn to you and speak
Did you say something?

Repost if your attention span (like mine) is too short for anyone's words to hurt you because you weren't listening ;P
Please comment! I love to read interpretations of my poetry or your thoughts on my work or on poetry itself as an art! 

Click, clock, wiz,twirl
The cogs begin to hustle
As they spin and swirl
filling the daily bustle

Moving the packages from here to there
Repeating  the daily hurry
Fixing them up everywhere
To erase the masters worry

The cogs repeating and teaching
Taking them from the clutter
With the powerful arms, reaching
Stopping with a stutter

They stuff them, paint them, move them
Teach them, fight them, carve them
They fill them, clutter them, rush them
Shove them, push them, test them

As they move the silly gifts along
Making them perfect for the future
It make takes years, maybe not too long
To form the perfect structure

And when the packages are all done
They will be shipped off to the store
We're they will be free to run
And the factory won't be needed more
Please comment I would love to hear your interpretations of this poem

The match that starts the fire

By all means
Start a revolution
Be remembered
Leave your mark
Burn to the ground what you know is wrong
Stand up for your beliefs
…but keep in mind…
…the match that starts the fire…
…is never the same afterwards.

Please repost if you have stood up for your beliefs before and it has been worth the trouble you experienced when you did it.

One small gasp breaks the quiet
Tears trace all faces

You're a hardcover novel I can't seem to put down with charming tea stains on your pages, endearing creased corners and torn edges I look upon fondly but I can't open you far enough to break the bind of your spine. I’ll keep trying though as I soak in and inhale every toxically flawless inky letter you are composed of, scribbling quotes from your chapters onto my wrists so I feel like I always have you with me until I know your story inside and outside, forwards and backwards, by heart. You have and immensely lovely and irresistible sleeve around you and a fascinatingly stirring summary for your description on the back but I’m more interested in what’s inside. It’s an incomplete tale though so I hope I get the chance to rewrite the rougher parts like the heartbreaking paragraphs of your past and maybe I’ll get to be a co-author for typing out your happy ending.

Please repost if you have ever experienced or are experiencing the budding beginnings of puppy love

Out beyond the edge of reason,
beyond where my senses can claim
I cannot sleep or wake…
nor dream.
In a state of
nondescript stillness. Bereft of
unnecessary memories.
I am not loved,
I do not love
in ways I can any longer
understand. Stark states of
stalemate.
Melpomene and Thalia
hunched over game pieces
a drunken heart
laments all a sober mind must
reason.
When liquid gold
and golden light
take to loving,
we as humans,
are no match. Either of
these elixirs in their limpidness,
bronzes our throats and
smothers our breath,
consumes our vision
with that last still drift of
sulphur, struck…
My flickering writhe
is a lambent match flame
Leaning in
to kiss a wild bonfire.

I love to sit
In a building
Way up high
And look down at the ground
And see all of the people
The size of ants
And all the cars
Like the toys I once had
Hurry around
Walking, running, driving
Everyone is in a hurry
Somewhere to be
Somewhere to go
Faster, faster
They go
Each one with there one story
Relatively insignificant to everyone else
Only people in your life care
About you and your story
The same way only you care
About people's stories
Who are in your life
Everyone else is just a face
In the way
Walking past you
Driving your bus
Your train
Your taxi
Insignificant
A pawn that gets you where you want to be
So you can ccontinue your life
What if
We cared more
About these people
Probably others would think you are crazy
But maybe you would touch someone's heart
Change their life
Maybe smiling could be a social normalcy
If those ant sized people
Could slow down
For a moment
What would I see
Way up high
If the world became
A friendlier place

ephemeral
Bad days will pass; the sadness will go away. Good days will pass; happiness doesn't last forever. Nothing does.
2. Not everything is worth your time or energy or brain space. Sometimes you need to just let things go.
3. You're not alone. You never were. You are surrounded by people that care about you, and if you don't think so, look closer.
4. Mental health and physical health come before grades and school, always. You need to take care of yourself.
5. The most self-destructive thing you can do would be to place all your love and happiness into someone else's hands, without leaving any for yourself. People are fluid. They change, and one day you might find that they left all your love to wither and die out on the street, with no regard for your feelings.
6. The hardest thing to do is to love yourself. But the hardest thing and the right thing are usually the same.
7.  You never actually wanted to die. You just wanted to start living.
8. It's okay to cry. Contrary to popular belief, crying doesn't mean you're weak. It means you're human.
9. Life is way too short for you to spend it surrounded by people that don't care, or people that make you feel ******. Be with people that fill you with positivity and light; people that are willing to stay up until two in the morning with you because your mind is a mess and you don't trust yourself to be left alone. Be with people that love you with every fiber of their being, and that you love even more than that.
10. You need to remember that once upon a time you were a little child, wide-eyed and curious about the world. You didn't lash out at people, you didn't harm yourself on purpose, you didn't starve yourself just so you could be lovely. And some nights, if your entire mind is attacking every single thing that you've ever done, it helps to pretend that you're that little kid again, because how could you possibly hate the three year old version of yourself? You can't. But you're still that three year old version of yourself. And that five year old version, and that nine year old version, and that eleven year old version, somewhere deep down. And if you can't find one single thing to love about your current self, that's okay. Find something to love about any of the other versions. Anything.
11. The coldest, cruelest people were once as warm and welcoming as the sun. So the next time you’re walking around and you decide that the world is an awful place, look closer. See the people around you as they are when they’re with the person they love. See them as they are when their eyes are lit up and they’re talking or thinking about something that they’re really passionate about. Look past the walls that they’ve built around themselves. The world is not an awful place full of broken people. The world is a beautiful place full of fragile precious people that are lost and wandering but still hopeful. If you look around and see misery, look around again and see what’s hidden behind the misery.
12. You're only here on this Earth for a short period of time. You're born, you go through life, then you die. You were blessed with a little bit of the galaxy in your body and stardust in your veins. So make the most out of every single moment that passes by, because you might not wake up tomorrow.
It amazes me how much I've grown and changed as a person since my last birthday, so I decided to make a list of everything I've learned.

The others wrote you letters
To explain why they couldn't stand you anymore
The next day you asked me
Where we stood
Since I didn't write you a 'hate' letter
What I said was too polite
So here is what I should have said

You treated me like ****
Stomped on me
Then waited until I picked myself up
To push me down again

So long I didn't notice
What you were really doing
I would come back
To apologize to you

Mistakenly

You had all of your friends
Dancing around
Controlled by you
Puppets, our strings in your hands

But a few of us
Had just come alive
Opened our eyes
And saw the truth

That you don't care about anyone
You just care that they care
But now I don't care
Go light yourself on fire

Guess What?

Family is forever
But friends don't have to be
I guess you forgot
We made a choice

Also known as a mistake
To be your "friend"
And I was a true friend to you
To bad it was one sided

In case no one ever taught you
Here is the definition of friendship
Two people who can trust each other
To give and take fairly from the other
To love them
A care about them

I should have said
That I can't give anymore
At some point a well
Has to run dry
I had nothing more to give you

If you could have stopped
Tearing at us
Ripping us down
You wouldn't have lost 3
Of the very best friends anyone could ask for

By hating our friendship
You excluded yourself
It's not our fault
It's yours

So if I ever have to see you again
My face will tell you to die
Even though my words did not
The day I said goodbye

If you are happy without me
Great.
If you aren't
Even Better

Just in case it wasn't clear

I hope you die in a hole.
Ελπίζω να πεθάνουν σε μια τρύπα

A very deep hole.
Sorry this is so long. It's not really a poem. It's more of a hate letter. Repost is you feel the same way about someone.

I'm THAT person.
You know the one.
The one you want to impale with a blunt object.
You will be texting them and you will disagree on something.
So they will tell you why they are right
And you will send them all these brilliant arguments about why you are right
And they will respond...
By correcting your grammar.
Yes, THAT right there, is ME.
Is it REALLY that hard though?
There is:
There, their, and they're.
Your, yore, and you're.
My friends and I.
NOT my friends and me.
If you're going to upset me, please,
Just kick me in the head or slam a hammer into my face but PLEASE do not say oxes. It's OXEN!.
And don't even get me started on it's and its.
When you mess that up... just ow. Ow. Ow. Ow.
It hurts me! Really!  Agonizing torture!
One day I'm going to snap and vandalize a billboard.
When I get arrested for that, the sad part will be that
It will be because I was correcting the "Got Milk?" Ad.
Got milk.
Got. Milk.
I'm sorry, GOT milk?!!
Did you mean do you HAVE any milk?!!
But police don't feel that improper grammar is a good  excuse for the defacing of property.
Yes, yes, yes I KNOW I'm a grammar ****
But do you know what? I wouldn't have to be one if people would quit MURDERING the English language!!
So please, before I spontaneously combust.
Get. It. Right.

Repost if yous Is one of thoses persons whose bothereded bye theses stuffs and badder grammar makeses yous madder then any others peopleses on earth.
Please comment! I love to read interpretations of my work and really anything else you have to say!

At
This isn't a poem. It's a challenge.
I want you to write a poem inspired by my profile picture (incase you can't tell, it is a duck)
So basically I would like you to create a poem using the first line above and tell me about a duck.
Sorry that is a really weird request. I just want to see what you can come up with :)

Life
So fleeting
So short
No one realizes
Until they lose someone
That it could all be taken
In an instant
No one wants to die
Even when they are in so much pain they can't move
Physically, mentally or emotionally
They just want the pain to go away
No one has to die to stop pain
Dying only gives it to other people
So even if you are crippled by sadness
Or sickness
Try to keep living
Not survive
But live
Everyday
Appreciate something
The sky
The snow
The grass
Anything
Just to remind yourself
That not everything is bad
The world is fundamentally good
Try to see the goodness
Because
We don't have much time
And we would hate to spend it sadly or angrily
So live
Make yourself happy
You can do
I Promise
My gramma just passed away yesterday and it made me think about the evanescence of life and it's preciousness. I want everyone to be able to live long and happily for the duration of time on earth. I hope you all want the same.
