Love is like marrow to bone,
It stays attached whilst living,
But as love dies and weakens,
Decay breaks the bond.
First attempt at Dodoitsu, enjoy :)

To reassure me
You utter softly
                    "Just think of me
                     As a cookie
                     You've been dying to eat
"
...
I'm nervous
My hands are shaking
When I place them on your knees

Sure
I've tasted hard lollipops before
And they were easy to take in my mouth
As my lips formed around them.

But I've never had a sugar cookie
Quite like this before
With a goddess
Quite like you

Your voice is calm
Collected
But weighed down
Over the sound of my panting
As your fingers tangle in my hair
                    "Relax"

My body twitches with excitement
Anxiety
Because I want to please you
But I don't know how

I lean forward anyway
And lick away some of the frosting
You moan
And I know you taste sweeter than ever.

Darling,
If words could display the extent of my love,
I would endeavour to persuade thee with words from Heaven above
And if gestures were adept at proving my affections
I would endeavour to convey them with my every action
But alas words fail, and actions come to nought
Inadequate a portraying what they ought
So my love, if thou desirest to know
The extent to which my love doth go
Cast aside thy inhibitions and draw nigh into view
And listen to my soul whisper, "I love you."

We were strangers among the stampeding crowd,
But fate has played us along;
As our heartbeat synchronizes out loud,
Singing the story of a broken song.

Our sun shines in the East,
but never dwindle on the West-
this strange feeling of bliss,
drifting in the chamber of my chest.

Daffodils dance in the scorching daylight,
As the breeze blows gently-
Oblivious to the inevitable flight,
Of an encumbering drizzly night.

Aurora borealis perforates the lone darkness,
Swirling in the starless sky of the North-
The way you eliminated my sadness,
And brings me comfort and madness.

The river cascading in an endless stream,
Splashing a cold brackish water-
These tears of misery and grim,
I will forever endure in my dream.

The moon is high as the tower,
The night as silent as the elm street-
Misery has once again devour,
the little joy turns bittersweet and sour.

I love and love and love unconditionally,
But the pain is searing unbearably;
I looked at the stars and heaven,
And realized we were strangers again.
If you are willing to invest in love, then be prepared to be hurt and forgotten. Remember, investment comes not without risks.

today becomes yesterday,
tomorrow becomes today,

now becomes earlier,
later becomes now,

present becomes past,
but isn't it sad that
what we thought is our future,
not always become our present?

People like to talk,
To make themselves be heard,
Some people seem to talk,
Without uttering a word,

For a word is something powerful,
A weapon you can use,
But be careful how you say it,
And which words you choose,

Some people talk for hours,
And still get nothing done,
Others talk for minutes,
And their battles are soon won,

Be careful who you listen to,
Who you let inside your head,
A voice may sound like music,
But poisons you instead,

Often the most profound things,
Are hidden in the quiet,
And if you're always speaking,
There's no way you can find it,

The young have less experience,
But raise their voices high,
The old have done and seen things,
But are fiercely pushed aside,

So take care how you listen,
With good words stand your ground,
Then find yourself a  mountain,
And spread the wisdom that you've found.

I hold my thoughts
In linear form
Until my eyes let lose
   The page...
A simple cure
For writer's-block
I use to get stuck
   For days...
Words would stick
In self conflict
   Distractions and dismay...
Yet still the need
To push the pen
Would help me
   Find my way...
Yet
What would I say
If a matter of gray
Could channel
   The Poets of Old...
Surely the fountain
Would soon run dryer
Than these words
That I've squeezed
   From my soul...

From the underworld
I arrived
Into the light
That often blinds
Oh thank the heavens
   For my rational mind...?

Let everything in,
Let the magic underneath your skin awake,
Let the vibrations of your heart take control, & magic they will make.

Your days will burst with love and light,
They will melt away the coldness around your heart
That will soon to be a lovely dash of art,
& the darkness you shall fight,
Because with time you will be alright...
