Reality,
Abandoned him,
No Emmy no reward,
And now he fights the press,
Is he ever bored?
A cyber fool,
In virtual….
He lives…..
He loves…..
He lies……
Does he own twitter?
Or does he just subscribe?

the word reciprocation
died of an unnatural death
it so required an in kind
responsive breath*

too few understood
the dire straits it was in
not ever being returned
mutual oxygen's kin

as a consequence of the term
never receiving air
there ended the life
of its courteous fair

the coroner's dictionary
apportioned blame
at the feet of they who
*knew not the name

on getting a scent
of the almighty dollar bill
the aroma it gave off
did so perfectly thrill

smelling a bigger ***
would better excite
for the nose is open
to that kind of invite

inhaling currency
switched him on fast
it smacked like
a power packing blast

and he'd follow the blood
hound's perceptive sniff
to where ever there would
be a profitable whiff

for sure and certain
his probing conk
will be out sensing
the huge money plonk

some days they will
clutter the page
with a massive catalogue*
of stuff
wading through all of it
is akin to strolling
among an endless ball
of fluff

to-day one couldn't go
venturing around
in the submission's
log-jam
looking for that hidden
piece lodged under
the fully booked
metropolitan tram

tomorrow there will be
more and more
contributions on the listing's
file
it's a sure bet that
the sifting and sorting is going to
take quite a long

error 500 has again*
reared its head
where all postings
were stopped dead

error 500 is the bane
of poets who want to write
flying its most annoying
notification kite

error 500 ain't
a fine anecdote
oft presenting

The number thirteen
On the day Friday
The murdered twins
A coincidence I may say

The lucky the number
Or unlucky a member
A dark day of sorrow
It's today not tomorrow

Friday the thirteenth
A superstitious belief
Crawling from beneath
It's no grief but a relief

The more the believers
Of this unlucky day
The more life shivers
In the dark anyway

A positive thought
To a positive mind
Sets lose if caught
From such negative blind

A number it is, for sure
Lucky or unlucky could be any
Being rich or be poor
Believers I believe would be many...

one is so glad
for not being a member
of his harem
exclusion from the inner sanctum
gives one a good perspective
on the everyday doings
between his adoring ladies
one oft sees them bickering
over his attention
the females appear
to be competing
at a super-human rate
hoping he'll send a flashing wink
their way
the sheik
has many choices
inside
his tent

the professor of unmasking will be
conducting the lecture to-day
and it's recommended that students
tune into the things he'll say

we'll take a little peek
at the layers he'll reveal
the exercise being similar
to removing an onion's peel

you'll not forget
the knowledge he'll impart
it'll stay in your brain's
recollection cart

so let's commence the lesson
enough with the intro's waffling on

firstly
it has an outer skin
secondly
there's the inner rows
thirdly
a center core

as this composite
is
the
professor's
cue
can
any
of
you
offer
a
clue
