What's so bad about breaking away from the pack?
Swimming against the current
Being kind in a cruel world

Why is being different considered weird?
Unique being negative
Alikeness encouraged

Since when is weird an insult?
Something frowned-upon
And taunted for

What has happened to our society?
Partaking in one general idea
And striving to fit the image

Why can't we break these walls?
Shatter this expectation
And maybe even rebuild our own
Written in a moment of creativity

Death-throws
uncurl from your ball child
wipe away those soot laden tears
welcome to the new world
where all is here to fear
sons of the apocalypse she wailed
bow down to your fears
welcome to the new world she wailed
welcome to the fear
welcome to the chaos that i have brought so near
uncurl from your ***** you men
bastars filled with shame
bring forth your sins,
and i shall give them names
Crawl out of your festering holes,
and bring out the young
for a man will say anything,
when he stares down the barrel of a gun

so we came in great swavs
and brought forwards all our rot
and smiled as she told us
that the world would forget us not

The man on the cross
Wears a ****** mask
Of eternal pains.
The god behind the pantomime
Smiles with eternal gains;
He has inside knowledge
Of our temporal life.

Someone I used to know
Once asked "What if people change?"
I pondered the question
And thought of a few more
Maybe they didn't change
So much as become who they really are
Or they're just exploring other parts of themselves
That haven't come out before
Or maybe change is real
But is that part of them ever fully gone
Or will it pop up every now and then
Unannounced and maybe wanted or maybe not
Can people truely change
Or has there always been that part of them
Someone actually did ask me that very question and I've had it on my mind every once in a while.

You're not okay
I can see it in your eyes
You wear this broken smile
as your disguise
You're dying inside
but you say you're fine
You're worth every breath
I promise, it's not your time
This is just a chapter
the end will eventually fit
Your story isn't over
*so don't end it
I don't take credit. Found this online by unknown.

The space between
your fingers,
your breaths,
is there room enough
for me to find
a little place?
because love is not
a person
nor is it a chase.
Love is a soul
that invites people
inside
to say grace.
For every ounce of
love that leaves
its trace
upon that soul
who says,
"Come there's room enough."
you're home.

Always remember
That the books
Who are the most worn
The most torn and ripped
The most broken

Those books are that way
Because everyone loved them
For what was inside

I would lose face
Without hesitation
If it meant
I put a smile on yours
