I think that when we start to think positive thoughts.
That sometime the negative thoughts slip into our minds.
To work to suffocate the positive thought we are having.
Thus is the time to stand firm pushing those thoughts out.
Keeping the positive thoughts in our minds always.
For tis a battlefield , for we need to stand fast and not give up.
But keep throwing those negative thoughts out of our minds.
Keeping only positive ones that help others in our minds.
For people not material things matter at least to God and I.
For each of you all are important to me always my Friend.
Not because I'm naïve ,
He's saved me on countless occasions,
So yes I believe,
Tried living life astray but it brought some crazy complications.
I believe in God,
My prayers get answered no matter how old,
His love is just so wonderful
His mercies beautiful,
His grace everlasting,
And the knowledge of Him;fulfilling.
Yes I believe in God,
And yes I do love God.
I'm so hopelessly weak without my God,
I am a believer.
Jesus Christ is my Saviour.

I chased her my lovely dream
Infernal queen of the unseen
Abstract empty black
Crimson and withering
Winter blooming
Years on end

Till I forgot my dear friend
And she found other lovers
A little blond boy,
A couple lost pets
An old man
An old woman
An old friend

She came circling again
Leaving me behind
To make time
While she robbed me blind

Rose petals and ashes
All in the past is
Under the ground

Red robe stained
I chased her less
As I got older
Knowing she
Will come around again
And again till
It is my turn to end

Sunshine
It's been over 365 days
It's been many nightmares and repetitive poetry
But your name still lingers on my breathe
And the short-lived memories on the tip of my tongue
I should probably brush my teeth

You shouldn't still be here
You left a longtime ago
But you must have forgot to tell me
Because I was still sending you letters
And you would send some back
But you tricked me you tricked me you tricked me

The idea of your voice caused me to rediscover old mannerisms
You reminded me that I actually like wearing bones and the color red
It's like finding an old song that you used to love
And the thought of bones is becoming an obsession again

Even my worst habits remind me of you
Everywhere is you
Everything is you
You're causing this "poem" to turn into and old unsaid rant

The thought of you has a nucleus and membrane of its own
It travels through my body and attacks my white blood cells

I shouldn’t still be writing about you
You're so last year
But baby I'm a hipster and I love to wear vintage

It must not be healthy
To bear this on my own,
But I would much rather
Just suffer alone.
These knots in my stomach
And these thorns in my throat
Have made this little hell
Feel a lot like home.

the man who lives at the top of the mountain
does not know of the life at the root of his tree.
he needs not strain himself to touch the clouds,
and has never found himself in such a position.
from atop his throne at the summit, he peers
at the world, sitting alongside his feet, and he
snickers. such a man could have a heart of
unwavering ignorance, built by the icy castle
he stands upon. and thus, it was necessary for
Fate to push him off his mighty pedestal . . .

and suddenly, he was not king of the world.
he found that every human
was the same as he, but so vastly varied as well;
their hearts chimed of their own accord,
but together at the same time;
their voices were strong alone and
powerful when congregated;
their eyes met the colors of the rainbow
and found those same colors within themselves;
and the sky was, alas,
too far to reach.
and what, may you ask, did they do?
they have done as you have,
laughing at the patterns of the clouds,
gazing at the messages of the stars,
and determination filled their veins
as they sought to reach the sky in their own ways.
a single mother sends her first child to college;
a doctor manages to save a life;
a couple or more find eternal love;
a single person chooses life over death at the edge of a bridge.

and it was in these ways that the man learned,
his mountain was the flattest plain in the world.
the mountains lived within people, and there
his icy castle gave way to a little bit of
hope,
a little determination.
and he gazed at the sky the same way they did.
this was a very quick one. but it's something.
the man learned his place in the world

People say to me life is short
but then they say to me
what do you want to be
how many kids will you have
do you know where youre going?

people say live life to the fullest
then they waste my time
monday through friday
6am till 3pm
then afterwards they want me to spend hours doing more work

life's precious we say
another cigarette away
reject another dream of ours
put a posionringed bottle to my lips
its not okay until im 21 because then
is when life is no longer as precious as before.
so we arrest our dreams and trap them
daily inside our most basic routines
let the precious time dwindle away
just so we can look back and say
lifes short
so lets spend our priceless seconds and hours and value them at 12$ an hour
because it is so precious to us
why i am wasting my time here
