Look behind every poem and you'll quickly see

a person that's trying to make sense of reality,

digging their heart and mind to find sanity,

while trying to connect with the rest of humanity.

If this isn't true, then it must be just me

doing my best to set my thoughts free.

But I know it is true, because I can see

a million other poems that completely agree.

Being human is common ground.
By this truth we're all bound.

Slowly perishing day by day.
Heading down the same pathway.

While we are all living,
we can choose what we're giving

our time to before we die.
Let's lay our lives down to beautify.

We all want our poems to trend and get views.
But when that is your focus, you're the one who will lose.

Striving for popularity can cause you to lose clarity.
Pulling you down a hole of insularity.

Instead, look ahead!
There are new horizons to be tread!
New poems to bloom happily in your garden bed,
no matter whether they are noticed...or even read!

All in this together.
All in this forever.

All have influence.
Each choice has continuance.

Every person you know:
a living domino.

Think twice about how
you unwittingly allow
their pushes to make you bow.

And think thrice about who
comes leaning on you,
for not every pathway is true.

There is a person
outside of time

who created a world
that was sublime.

It was us who chose
to eat the fruit

that turned mankind
down a different route.

If we would listen,
he'll show us the way

and we will discover
it's best to obey.

eternity
a mystery
opposite of history

future mankind
past left behind

whole new world
story untold

evil slayed
humans free

noone afraid
not you, not me

looking there now
I can see

everything how
it's meant to be!

Every past generation had their turn
on this giant ball.

They had their taste of life, then death,
and now we're here for more.

Reality has gone a long way back.
It's quite the story we're in.
