You're vapor that
Claws at people
waves red flags
that say
send help

Watch them walk by

They always get tired of you
You get lonely of them
You cross them off your list
Crosses are your talent

Wait awhile
to become a raincloud

Words words words
like little droplets
fall from mind.

They tickle senses
awakening visions.

They travel from Mind to Breath,
Breath to Hand
Hand to Pen.

They fall
making puddle of verse
for reader to splash in
as water proof ink drifts in wind.

Words need no umbrella,
for their cool coat of moisture
empowers the scribe.

And brings a rainbow of beauty
for all to see.

Neuvalence
As the tide flows back and forth
I am pulled by your energy
I am pulled by its consistency
Though I waited far too long
for the moon to settle down

Through the evergreen forests of the east,
the cold of Mount Fuji’s peak,
the pyramid of Giza’s stone heat
and life’s final feast,
I’ve ran towards you on my bare feet

Waste no tears and hold no fears
for this is a cruel game, my dear
Nights get brighter and days get darker
I just want for there to be
a new start for you and me

As our hearts grow further apart
It’s like when the sun and moon
have no time together to bloom
Missing each other by a minute
whenever the clock strikes six

Through the evergreen forests of the east
we’ll unite for the last feast
above the cold and through the heat, we’ll climb
to enjoy ourselves together one last time
for the final nights of our prime

Sarah
I woke up
a year ago today
innocent
unknowing
And went to bed
broken and heavy as stone.
They say that when
you lose someone
that day is forever
the end of your old life
and the beginning of the new one,
the life without.
Each day learning
how to cope with
the gaping hole
that was once filled with her.
It's interesting to think
That we are damaging the Earth as we speak
But still, we continue to spew our poison into the atmosphere,
Polluting the air with something we know we cannot breathe
"Just a little more, and then we'll stop", we say,
But still, we burn.
It's almost like how people work
When they pollute the minds of each other
With useless nonsense; a black smoke, created by the words we say and entering each others heads when they hear them.
It's unhealthy. Just like the carbon dioxide,
The useless words we say have little to no meaning.
But very unlike the physical pollution,
We can stop it.
We can turn it around.
But human greed prevents this.
And thus is born an interesting thought.
If we could, just for a day, all be nice to one another, and stop filling each other's head with fear, anxiety, and doubt, maybe we would be able to live a little.

She Writes
I hope someday you get played,
The way you played me.
I hope you give someone your heart,
And they up and flee.

I know I shouldn’t think this way,
I should be happy for the lesson.
I need to swallow my pride,
And let the bitterness lessen.

One day you’ll see,
You made a mistake.
What you did to me,
Will someday be your fate.

In the future, I know I’ll be fine.
As for you...I would wish you the best, but you already had it.

Creative writing
Speaking my thoughts
Is my drug to mask the pain
I hide on the inside
From everyone around me

It’s the way I am able to speak without facing my emotions
Hiding behind the pen and paper
Expressing my emotions
Whether happiness or sadness
Being myself
Not hiding behind the facade and shell of my body

My drug is writing
It makes me feel like I’m floating throughout the majestic
White fluffy clouds of my imagination
