Sometimes I think about the things I do,
Practice my smile, try to look cool
Yet what is this feeling
It sinks in and sinks in deep
Tearing apart my smile
The moment it sinks

Red leaves
           fell silently
Under the maple tree
           by the lake
Where we met
Last autumn
           Late September;
When the maple leaves
             turned crimson
       you made me
blush just like
those scarlet leaves
       That day ...
                                    Autumn came early,
                                  Why don't you,too...?

            Winter's on the way
           Are you, too?

Where are you...?

After you left, the virid sugar maple leaves turned flavescent 🍁 ,then segued into red

Daydreams
Him
Suspended in time
Weightless and unworried
We hang on to the moment
Sedated magic unhurried

His scent is captivating and wild
Forever embedded in my brain
Masculine and crisp
A few hints of the earth after a rain

Insecurities held at bay
I live inside your sanctuary
Your embrace keeps me safe
My senses relaxed and unwary

One thing, I like the most;
Of pain, It doesn't step back;
Of the obligations out of lack
And even never let you lost.

The condiment of the pain:
It just Burns-in your vein;
Never quenched but remain,
Like a flame of the chain.

It didactics integrity:
Of the virtual connection in the middle-
Of pair of insanity, who never fiddle,
With each other the game of animosity.

Composed by Urooba Fatima.
This poem is about the relationship between human and pain.

maria
do you think of me?
in your wet dreams while you sleep?
you appear in mine.
To be captured,
by the radiance in your eyes,
the flow of your hair.

To be enamored by your grace,
to be a guest of honor in your life.
to be a recipient of what makes people love you.

To be a part of your family, and a family for once.
To have a place in your lineage, and a place for once.
To have a place in your heart, and someone's heart for once.

I'm independent, yet I want to be claimed.
I'm my own person, but I want to be owned.
I'm my own man, but I want to be someone's.

Meera
sad like her cheeks when she forces a smile
dry like her lips when she kisses my cheeks
lost like her expressions when she stares into the darkness
Quivering like her voice when she lies that she's okay
Deaf like her ears when she slips  back into her void
tired as her eyes when she hasn't slept all night
Yellow as the pills she places on her tongue
And red as the wine she gulps them down with

If you ever wonder what depression looks like
It looks like my mother's face
