I was used for heat
Candle lit for awhile
Snuffed out with a pinch
You made me melt but I barely warmed your fingertips

Who knows when we will find happiness?

Or where it is stashed away?

Why it takes so long to reach?

If we discover it at all?

My confused heart aches

Are we to stay lost forever?

Happiness appears to be nothing-
A hoax to me
Like bigfoot or nessie

To love you now means to love you from distance
My eyes swelling,
Heart desolate and longing
For the sound of your voice,
Warmth of your embrace

In the midst of despairing days,
Dreary nights
And sorrowful worries
Here, I love you from afar

In loving you there is no tomorrow;
Only today
If the world crushes on a beam of light in this moment,
Will I ever see you again?

I hear whispering outside
The wind as your name is cried
My company on these nights so cold
Rhythmic song keeping my hand to hold
I miss you, and everything I hear or see reminds me of you somehow.

It's nothing but a changing thing
the morning sun and what she'll bring
Everyday is a promise kept
to live it all 'till there's nothing left.
One foot follows the other in time
keep moving and you'll keep the rhyme.
It's unfolding as it's meant to be
your fulfilling your life's history.

Demons are just FALLEN ANGELS.
They fell
From HEAVEN to HELL,
And unlike angels,
DEMONS have a STORY to tell.
Good and evil.
It's just two sides of the same coin.

We rode on the backs of giants
Our heads barely over the cover of clouds
On the high we were reliant
Indignant, defiant, and proud
We screamed so loud they could hear us
Bellowing from below
We could not make out
What they would shout
from the bottom down so low
We were up there for so long
That we had forgotten
what it was like to look up
Looking down was enough to get us by
We had grown accustomed to the sky
To the ground
we fell all the way
And we tried to yell for help
But to our dismay
No one could hear
what we had to say
Looking up at the giants that used to carry us
Was almost scary because
At any time we could be crushed
no longer did we feel the rush
Of touching heavens crown
now we only knew as much
As the loss that we had found
