I climbed out of this trench,
That was as deep as six feet,
When I realized that a broken heart,
Still manages to carry a beat.

while others dream
she lies
curled in her shell
a snail of underwear and eyelashes
with each blink
the blue glow shimmers on her eyes
reflecting a calm sea
that used to know fire

but where is the tempest?
where did the
grasping groping clutching
fingers lose their way through her hair
they were supposed to arrive by now
while the figures wait
shrouded and distant
at the bus stop

is it possible to light a match that has already burnt out?

I woke up drunk into the afternoon, heard the earths heart beat, listened to it swoon. Thought it a fool, for falling for the moon. But here I am, loving you.

Quiet nights remind me of your voice.
The silence cut ever so delicately.
Blades of whispers.
Whispers of sweet nothings.
What keeps the fire in this heart alight.

Quiet nights remind me of your eyes.
The glint of a beautiful moon.
The hope of a million galaxies,
Twinkling.
As darkness cowers.
Hides.

Quiet nights remind me of you.
All the little things that you would do.
And though half a world away you may be from me.
Though once in a blue moon, you I get to see.

Quiet nights like these.
Will always remind me of you.

Clear, crisp, beautiful warm night with the moon up high and the stars out playing with the fires in our hearts.
These nights remind me of you.
It's been 84 days and counting.
Far from me you may be, but too far you will never be. :)

Happy birthday you strong, beautiful young lady..
May all that's good be yours and all you wish be true someday. :)

You taste like static
and your eyes look like hot coals
Let my body fizz
Ease me into your skin
I want to know what dying is

I've heard people who are away from each other say-
"at least we're under the same sky"

but we're not,
because it doesn't rain here the way it does back home,
the sun isn't warm enough to tingle my bones.
the sky here bends to meet buildings and towers,
not the hills and mountains and their wonder

So I say-
*"but we're not. the sky here is different."
college life isn't as fun as i thought it'd be.

I feel so horrible
the pain is just so irresistible
like Clair Huxtable

I can't think
i want to eat and drink
but i'm afraid it wont sink

I was told
i was found drunk and cold
dying and yet i'm not even old

Choking on my own puke
the beer hit me like a nuke
my survival was a fluke

I thought i wanted to die
but i'm so happy i'm alive
time to throw the beer outside

Words were frozen , bodies were were shaken
that night.
Words were spoken, none were taken in my
conscious mind,

the taste of tongue tempted and tingled my ego from the start
twisted tales we told formed tangents limiting my heart.

The heart, my heart is ductile when frozen by those words
my lips were stable, my brain and heart was in distinctive worlds.

Silent sounds were septic so were swimming thoughts that time
silver words were sold and my swelling heart was just a dime.

Speak to me with eyes
I'll listen with my lips .
Do not say a word because
your presence was the gift
Don"t Speak, Just Feel
