beneath her eyes
were these beautiful flowers
watered from the tears
she shed from a heartbreak
each glance at her eyes
touches your soul
and tell you a story

So if things go my way,
Will you love me any longer than today?
I want to hear you say,
That you’ll love me for eternity and a day.

I finally broke down every wall for You

And you picked up every single stone
Just to throw it back at me.........

"why are you writing
poems and prose?"
asked a guy out of nowhere
while staring at my pen

"to breathe."
I answered with a smile

for writing lets me indulge
with metaphors and similes

it is my escape
the key toward my fantasies

Black futures -
not a month
not a meme
not hash-tagged and gone
past in a blur.

Futures built
on the foundation of the past,
but rising past past expectations
and housing future generations
of black lives that answer back
and build better black futures.

The future's bright.
The future's colourful.

One day someone will love you
But you won't
and the ones that used to love you will cease their's
thinking you got someone for you

You will weep, you will cry
but the one you truly love
will have the same story of their own
