One can turn One's eyes towards Darkness,
One can turn One's eyes towards Light,
but I've found that it's most healthy
setting an eye quite firmly on each
with One's mind focused right in between;
while living right now before it's too late.
Let it breathe

Let it ease

Let it free

I have the key

Let me cease the moments with nothing but love

Keep me away from jealousy because insecurity comes and goes

Its human nature

Let us feel everything bad and good, balanced

Its human nature

We’re supposed to for the best at the end

Let me feel, let me feel

Feel everything there is to love

Feel everything there is to pain

Feel everything there is to life

Because that's when I know I really lived
True colors, born brothers
The ugly is the pretty to a soldier who's seen it all
Have I seen depression? Have I seen it all?
Have I really seen my true sadness?
Have you really seen your mother?
Have you really kissed her knowing that's all she's ever wanted?
False perception
Good intentions
Real decisions
Small connections
When I think of all the love, I'm in trouble
Have you thought of yourself as a king or queen?
Because you are
You've always been in a world that's yours to rule and conquer
We could live, we could become
Always become
Silence is my canvas.
Energy is my pantheon.
Thought and Music are my forms of prayer.
There's a small temple near here

The dry grass around it bends
   rattles and snaps
   in the constant
   wind

Dust blows up in clouds that whip
   across the wooden stilts
   and fall

A temple
   to the ancestors

Hand-painted clay pots
   within a quiet recess hold
   their ashes

at rest
languorous monkeys
long-fingered
wide-eyed

out across the branches
and the canopy
of the high
trees

up through the valleys every year
with spring among
the flowers
the bees

the quiet hours
the blossoms
the fleas

here the beauty
of genes
If only my words can sell
If the lines I make has emotion
If the paragraphs I create has meaning
I will be rich
And
The world shall celebrate
If only.
