Hades, God of the dead King of the underworld And all of its shades The Unseen, Giver of Wealth Keeper of the hound Cerberus Brother, one of a grand trio With sisters of wonder The renowned wealthy one Judge of the dead Mighty ruler is he Keeper of mortal souls Great is he Upholder of the balance In the kingdom below Mortals, how they tremble At his sheer power His word is his command Strong is he, astounding among the gods God of peace for the deceased Upholder of funeral rites Defender of burial rights Due onto the dead Regal is he The all-receiver Blessed is the abundance Of wealth he bring Mysteries of the dark Oh great one Whom mortals hold Both honor and fear Whom many indeed revere Divinely dark Hands upon the earth Reaching far below To his realm, his domain Sacrifices to him, Offerings to the King Whom ride in chariot of gold Drawn by four horses immortal From his kingdom below The legends that did grow Carrier of the scepter To guide the shades With his power and mystery Thousands know his name The God Hades - Jay M October 5th, 2021

Hades, King of the Underworld
Shattered glass upon the ground I walk With Shards in my bare feet And skin dry and brittle like chalk Bathing in my own field of wheat I am the bread basket of my own produce The life of my own breath And the electrician to my own fuse That cuts the energy from the world's **** So my dear friend won't you look And see that I am I I write my own bound book With letters of my soul's cry You are the upholder to your own home The columns to a distinct bridge Don't take me from my kingdom To lead me to the devil's ledge I ask of you to sing your song not mine And allow me to write my melody Of the oceans whispers upon the pine That speaks my spirit not this felony Oh how I wish I believed these words But they tell the lie of a longing heart That's pierced by frozen swords I want to help you love, hold your part I want to be your eternal pillar And live as one in unison Resonating the music of our laughter Please take me as your woman

A Woman
The Great Debate started, Parliament was the open forest, electors were divided into two groups— Sir Fox's, and The Lion's, The first group wanted to overthrow the Lion from the sovereign head of the forest, It was a tough job to confront Lion directly, So, Sir Fox, appointed a Monkey as the Chief campaigner, and that monkey appointed other monkeys in the business, Scaring them with a story of vanishing trees, and living on the land increases the mortality rate if Lion Party continues. Monkey, the chief campaigner exclaimed, “We are not living in the rule of law but in the rule of Lion, All are equal, but the continuous target of a particular community, Like a beautiful deer, by another community in majority should be banned, Deers bring historic and aesthetic significance to the forest And need to be treated as the same,” Deers bellowed gleefully hearing this. Cows felt hurt, their exclusion from Monkey’s speech proved to be a setback to the Fox’s Party, Cows were the most targeted community by the Carnivores, everyone in the forest knew, Potential voters were lost to Lion’s Party. Polarising speeches of Chief continued, It brought Rhinoceros to its side, Seeing rhino in political rallies, Hippopotamus chipped in, To counter the increasing weight Political advisor of Lion, i.e, Tiger, persuaded Elephant to become an official member of their party. Hate speeches increased in numbers Giraffe, the bearer and upholder of law, Overlooked everything, the long neck looked tilted towards an ideology. Rumours became truth, truth became rumour Monkey was good in it, And an army of monkeys were excellent. Parrots, Pigeons, Peacock, **** Cuckoo, Cat, Loved the importance they got, Disseminated the Fox loving songs. The listeners felt threatened, They had an enemy living between them and they were considering them friends, They thanked the Parrot, Pigeon, Peacock for pointing them out. Now, biped hated quadruped, Quadruped hated reptiles, Reptiles did the same to amphibians, And in this way the whole animal kingdom danced in chaos, The fiery speeches of Sir Fox helped in creating illusion, The slogan of the Man as a common enemy was changed to, Feline as a common enemy, Felines joined Sir Fox’s Party, And Canines ran to Lion’s Party, Obvious was difficult to observe Obscure was easy to see. to be continued

Stupidly genius, moronic and shrewd people eat their fast food on fine China Failing is vertical, errors are slander Their gross insults impacting easy digestion Hyperbole falsehood messiah Piercingly silent and ardently soft people keep their opinions on fences Insults are weaponry not to be yielded Their platitudes cradling fragile personas Perversely destructive defences Classically learned and bookishly rich people carry their privilege with kindness Science is built with colonial scaffolds Their method constraining all true innovation Parochial qualified blindness Shockingly worthy and recklessly small people polish their boots with lead solder Gravity holding them grounded and upright Their bootlaces impacting aerodynamics Inferior sturdy upholder Gallantly serving and fearlessly trained people douse the political embers Fire escape blocked with hobnails and lumber Their pickaxes caught in the thick poison ivy Nugatory self-rule defenders The silent, the learned, the worthy, the trained people trade voyeurism for vision Hologram values are no longer trump cards Their gazes averted from hate-dripping sophists Integrity first coalition

Integrity first
how many shots does it take how many bullets fired until you feel safe beneath your kevlar vest gun in hand barrel smoking was it fear in your eyes or was it hate in your heart a willing force of ignorance that fueled such brutality how dead does a man have to be before you loosen your finger from the trigger how many holes do you have to put into his body before he is no longer a threat how long does his heart have to be still before you feel like you’ve done your job well protector of the peace upholder of the law murderer of the innocence yet innocent of ****** how do you escape the feeling of guilt the taste of sin on your lips how do you pray with blood soaked hands and the news is nothing new the story stays the same other than a new name behind the hashtag and the list grows as does the number of grieving Emmett Till is still dead and the hate that killed him so long ago so long ago is still alive protected by kevlar vests and loaded guns that are emptied by fingers choking triggers with a noose tight grip protector of the peace upholder of the law keeper of hate how many more shots how many more bullets until you feel safe murderer of the innocent yet innocent of ******

Giver of life. Upholder of existence. Keeper of my heart. All to my be. These things and more are what you are to me. These things and more are what you've done for me. To give you my life doesn't seem to cut it. I owe you more than that. I always will..

Sustenance
A solemn man, Blue, concerned with life, Thinking, calculating a way, To keep from throwing life away, He sits by the window, Hollowed with moonlight, His sorrow shows though, Knowing not what to do, Then as an angel, Sent from heaven, Irisviel descends on his shoulder, Comfort, reassuring, his upholder, An angel trapped in a demon, A woman tormented by herself, Never knowing peace, Their woes would never cease,

FATEed Portrait
Trust is offended by gesture of offender... Bottomless faith want the glaring optimist upholder... Only the silver lining without any shareholder... The only name to be written not intend to be a certitude holder... The fired pit convicted the heartfelt borrower... The festoon of assurance needed to be spark flower... Reliances are now realising the imposter mellower... Digging the never happened sureness by furrower...
