emptiness Jun 2014
in a once quiet thought
my lips trembled,
tongue frozen still;

along the lined horizon I glanced,
missing the beauty,
I have seen the emptiness;

silently they whisper,
deception their embedded kiss,
sitting, I waited
while they walked;

bleak winters I have known;

your essence, filled my palms;
spilling onto the canvassing world,
you drew me a picture;

untainted reality,

taught my finger tips to sway,
from left to right,
my curiosity now eclipsed by this,
gift;

showed my hand to paint,
with such precautions,
being g very careful to color
outside the lines of *******,

clothed my nakedness,
the warmth of your radiances,

burned my voice into solid letters,
molding them into words,
you gave them their voice;
like glowing embers;

thank you...

moonlight is invoked
as a beacon--
in taut-fingered metaphor
as beauty's parallel.
but its power is in reflection,
in meditation, in echo.

but what value is there
in light stolen and returned
softer, gentler?

maybe understanding
that these radiances exist in balance
and liken their charm
in effigy to ourselves.

golden hair and blue eyes
the indefinite sun, how it shines
radiances amongst your warm tan skin
glowing from within

soft ridges of the waves
sway back and forth
towards your board

the high you get from urging to touch
those soft pink skies
and the rush of the water building intensely
as you approach

alas
with a  cool breeze
this moment is felt at ease
taking it all in as you take a breath
a few seconds of blissful peace

the moment your feet touch the grainy sand
reality hits back
dripping wet yet scrounging for thirst

you sit there a moment with your board
and gradually embrace today
as you look back at the sun meeting the water
you bid farewell
just until tomorrow
for that one surfer dude

Sky without boundaries
Blue itself resembles sea
Two stars collide
In the dark, the lights merge

The memories remain
If we live forever
Then even afterlife
I'll possess you inside my mind

As a dark matter, I'm there
As celestial stars, you're there
I stay still, no one misses
Sudden your warmth reaches

Our bodies are imminent, with no edge
Collide, your radiances perfectly bewitch
I thought we were limitless
Two souls could merge

Even after dispart, you're resplendent
You've found another sky to shine
Even after our love is doomed
You're still in the sky, in the other sky

The memories remain
Sometimes they invade
Sensing nausea, my part has vanished
Caught in anxiety, my heart yet cherishes

Soft swirling
streams
of liquid violet,
moved around her body
like silk scarves.

Green gloves
touched
with the love
of living fruit,

rays of radiances
gave way
to smiles
birthed
from
****** canals.

Opposite
this virginal dancer
another lover sat,
female form
of cold blankness,
deathly pallor
of numb affection.

For one I wake
in grand *******,
but for the other
I stay alert,
putting her off
for as long
as opportunity
and will allow.

If I were to say no
would that start up another go
once again, another fight
we can't seem to make it right
We have words and how
so very often now
but can we carry on
every moment at full run
So then when you say
there's no other way
we are bound up tight
with no freedom in sight
What can I do now
forever baited by a vow
I don't think this is my dream
I'd rather live in radiances' gleam
I tell him we have grown apart
I'm rather mellow, while you're so ****
he takes that badly
commencing to mope about sadly
As if it's something untrue
sometimes I think he hasn't a clue
but I have to do what's best for me
hoping maybe he'll be able to see
That it will truly be good for us
we could separate with the least bit of fuss
he won't be humiliated with the shame
he really believes people will blame
