Floating through life
While flopping my arms helplessly
Look at me go
Ain't I lovely?

The light is there
But it's so far away
I don't know what went wrong
Time went so fast
I thought I was strong
But I lost my way
Now I don't know
where I belong

Twisted mind, corrupted soul
Sacred heart
I have a lot to learn
in this life of mine
Which is ever so dark.

I don't understand you anymore
or maybe
we never understood each other at all

Sometimes,
You're as warm as a wool sweater
Sometimes,
You're as cold as the morning breeze
When I don't have time for you,
you get mad
When I exert effort to make time for us,
you ignore me
When I give you enough time,
you feel unsatisfied

I know I'm not perfect
I have the same flaws too
But please know that I'm trying
to be the best that I can be for you

Please don't ignore my I miss you
Please reply to my I love you
Please tell me how your day was
Because all I want is to be noticed by you

It's been a week already
I still feel sad
I still feel disappointed
And I still love you
I always will
poem out of frustration. forgive me.

way above the clouds,
i watch the moon change phase
floating in the stars,
i’m in a cosmic daze
whispers in my ear,
the planets call my name
so far from it all,
don’t have to feel

lying on the moon,
nowhere else feels right like this
tangled in the sky,
all my sorrows disappear
finally i’m free,
i cry tears of golden light
so far from it all,
don’t even think of you

i’m falling, but i don’t mind falling up here
i’m reaching, but i don’t need catching,
it’s so clear
i’m floating, but never feeling
i’m wondering,
if i’ll every have to leave
this poem is actually the lyrics to a song i wrote

Under the weight
of loneliness
I wear the universe
like a cloak,
pressed around me,  pinned
holding me close in
its wild womb
gathering up the shards
of warm fire laughter
and voices
that weave into bones
rising in chants
pinnacles gently rocking
into a frenzy
of dark lunar dance

and my
inner moon rises
it's spackled lights
like penetrating eyes
wrapping me in its
blanket of
             stars
Just an intense moment in time that passed

Letters from Lia
Under the shining little lights glued upon the dark sky I rest my soul through the relaxing sand wrapping me up. While the blinding full moon is hearing me silently, enlightning me from within. The dancing cold waves are kissing my bare feet, reaching the hem of my dress. The relief reached my soul as the howling wind surrounds and hovers around me and through my ear it whispers "you are free"
—silence comforts me

Letters from Lia
I've taken sleeping pills
So I can close my eyes
And dream about you
So I can rest and sense your
presence next to me
So I can dream of what
we could be
So my mind can wonder
and find you
So I can hold your hand
and embrace you
I've taken sleeping pills
For this will be the closest
I'd get to you
Because us, being one
Is just a possibility
—i just love you, im going mad

Grief in Pink
 Apr 2020 Nix W
Eloisa
Longer sleepless evenings
Humid, dark, and bleak
Serene and sorrowful homes
Blossoming sakura trees weep
With heavyhearted lonely buds
Spring, unforgettable saddest spring
Trees not lovelier and so are fields
Nor the day more delightful than the evening
These unhappy blooms in pink
Signal a different kind of grief
Sakura  (cherry blossoms) are constantly cited as the most recognizable sign of spring in Japan. When trees all over the country burst into breathtakingly beautiful clusters of pink flowers right about the time it gets warm enough, people  yearly go outside to enjoy. Blooming of the sakura is a beautiful  gift from mother nature, hanami (sakura viewing) is done by many people in spring.  But due to COVID-19 pandemic, parks right now are being closed to avoid more transmission of SARSCoV2.
