It’s never good when you find out there’s strings attached. It’s even worse when you find out you’re the puppet.

Starry
Kissing in the
Park
In a dusky
Fog I throw my hand as I
Await his love
Who
Said forging
R a I n y days aren't
Romantic
One drop...
Two drops....
Three drops.....
My heart was filled with an ocean of love for you
Loving you
A poison I would drink with pleasure
Any day of the week
I met a genius on the train
today
about 6 years old,
he sat beside me
and as the train
ran down along the coast
we came to the ocean
and then he looked at me
and said,
it's not pretty.

it was the first time I'd
realized
that.

Khoisan
Crouching at your door
squalls taunt, the devil don't pray
do not be afraid

Listen to his voice
He knows the qualms of darkness
feet above water

knees lowly
silence the raging tempest
You are our daily bread
Mathew 6 v 9-13
Who art in heaven
Give us our daily bread

we wake -
jump into our skin

-dreams half dreamt
falling from our minds

-we remember in flashes
snatches, strange affairs

places, people,
dreamscapes somewhere
-...out of reach.

I was waiting for a happy ending
But now I'm just waiting for the end
hopelessness is a dark place
