Do you feel it?
As if we're drawn together,
like soulmates.
Maybe you do,
I wont ever know,
but I feel it always ends the same.
Maybe we're not meant to be together.
Perhaps it's always been this one sided...
despite the words you've said,
no matter how we lived.
God and priest,
maiden and servant,
in a war somewhere,
friends.
I don't think we've ever ended up together,
isn't that sad, my dear, Aphrodite?
I suppose it's for the best, darling.

Fear scares people.
Truth hurts people.
But both go hand in hand to revelation.

Hell scares people.
Heaven impresses many.
But they work accordingly in sermons by preachers that minister the word.

Love embrace people.
Hate enrage people.
Except both are apparent within us.

Our heart is a mystery?
Feel with so much sympathy to care, to love and to share.
Except we don't?
When it is needed the most.

Floating on Substances.

Skinny, papery, wrinkled, and pale
Running a rosary through her fingers
The air shimmers, balmy ocean waves that never cease
From the shaded marble step, I ask:
“Why do you suffer rituals out in the scorching sun?”
“My child, that’s how it’s always been done.”

It's fascinating how words can turn deep, intricate stuff into everybody's cup of tea and at the same time, beautifully elaborate a weary person's monotonous life into a philosopher's philosophy.
