You can see I am a stranger
but you are in no danger.

If you only took
the time to look

into my pale blue eyes
you would then realise

I Am a stranger

to myself.

Quiet! Shhh!
Can you hear it?
The animals are talking.
No, they are panicking.
Can you smell it?
The Forest is on fire.
My Forest is aflame!

I run, following nostrils singed with heat,
against the tide of the fleeing fauna.
Reaching the blaze I see....
eight of them.
My anger rises and erupts.
'STOP!' I bellow. They turn and draw swords.
My eyes narrow and a look of pure disdain unfolds.

I continue.
'I am Rook, Lord of the Forest Kingdom.
How dare you, enter my domain with no permission
and reek havoc on my Forest'.

A step is taken, toward me.
The eyes of a fighter glower, at me.
The point of a sword raises, threatening me.

I punish.
'For your transgressions and your destruction
you shall stand as stones, for eternity,
and as a warning to others'.

A scream pierces the air as a foot,
then another, compresses to rock.
The rest join the chorus, agony,
as each become statues,
twisted and contorted as
the Ancient Oaks they had destroyed.

My Oaks.
This is my Anger.
Would you care to see my Love?

Noname
Touch light
 Apr 2019 Sarah
Noname
She sneaks out at night
Busts a couple moves
Makes few dollars
Couple men hollar
She's beaten and bruised
And she doesn't no what else to do
Rent is coming
She keeps reaching for god
But she feels all her sins have kept him from listening to each of her prayers
Please hear me
Please hear me
Each night she cries
My baby she needs me
Her father has died
I work nine to five
But it's never enough
And the only thing that keeps me going is this bag of white stuff
If I leave her she'll go straight through the state
And her life will be filled with rage and hate so I stay
And try
But I know it's not right
When will our lives ever touch light
Just somethin different

O' Widow of the Worlds, embrace thy darkest hours.
Breathe evenings cold perfume, recall woods and flowers.

Glide proud amongst thy memories and foggy dreams,
pause pensive, gently pick a black rose for thy hair.
Give tears, settle 'pon thy fate as destiny deems,
walk through the mist and dissolve into the air.

At peace 'pon thy darkest hours,
sigh alone, a door to close,
sadness sleeps for all eternity,
the silent death of a rose.

O' Lady of the Forests, hold thy woodland form.
Smell blossoms sweet scent, calm within a storm.

Take umbrance through meadows and mighty trees,
pause delicate, gently pick a red rose for thy hair.
Hold a tear and muse 'pon thy children's pleas,
walk by sacred lakes and be one with the air.

And stood 'pon thy woodland form,
bleed love to all exposed,
pain becomes still until forever,
the silent blood of a rose.

O' Maiden of the Garden, still thy flowery swing.
Inhale dawns fresh dew, as birds take to wing.

Glide casual across the grass and dainty moss,
pause quaint, gently pick a white rose for thy hair.
Shed a tear and cry for thy saddest love lost,
walk through the mist and float away in the air.

And seated 'pon thy flowery swing,
in quiet and soft repose,
draped so nonchalant until Spring,
the silent ghost of a rose.

She sits upon the cold grey stone,
waiting for he whom she craves,
counting down the longest moments,
perched beside the Ancient Grave.

Soon he will be wooing her,
making her heart swell like a wave,
taking her safely into his arms,
standing beside the Ancient Grave.

So entwined shall the lovers be,
to each a love they willingly gave,
naked and intimate in complete ecstasy,
laying beside the Ancient Grave.

And when its time to part again,
it would surely sadden the brave,
she watches until he disappears,
and settles into her Ancient Grave.

Two Pains

Everyone   must
choose   one   of
two   pains:

The pain of discipline
               or
The  pain   of   regret.

I've  found the  pain of regret to hurt
so much worse.  Discipline  I learned
in the Marine Corps because if I didn't
learn it, I was a dead man in the war I
                                                       fought.

Discipline is the
          bridge
     between goals
             and
   accomplishments.

Left Behind

Seema
Clear this fog
O rushing winds
Take it further
On your daring fins
Warm my eyes
O steaming sun
So I can see
Atleast for once
Light never pierces
Through my sight
Darkness realms
With no light
Hush, my heart
Don't feel down
Cheer up a little
Don't you frown
On the wings
Of the earliest flight
Dusk till dawn
It's never bright
Set a sail, O dear heart
Fear no fright ahead
Stir gently through the mist
So I can join the dead...
