Miraculously mysterious

The images in the eyes

Not a match for the one in mind

The visionary, sees through
all of you
no more than
zeroes and ones
electronic bits
sharing flesh and bones.
Still blows me away how many friends I've made whom I've never met.

We leave parts of us in the words we write
For our present selves to live and believe in
For our future selves to wonder
For our past selves to be remembered

-- Isn't that beautiful?

Writing lines like conversations
That live on as long as they're read
Never washed away from the imprints of history
The greatest things left unsaid

Reading minds from long ago
A place no one else will know
But see, in writing you get to be
Yesterday, today, tomorrow and forever

-- A legacy.
My hand aches to write.
I wasn’t looking for you.
I wasn’t expecting you.

But I’m glad I met you
Flowers that blossom
roses that bloom
always seem to make room
for the weeds.

Your eyes were
as warm as the sun.
To this day,
you still have me
chasing the horizon,
chasing that warmth
I felt with you.

As a blooming flower in the garden I'm always plucked,
Used too many times for an indecisive man
To find his way,
Ripping out my petals, singing
"I love her, I love her not."
But as a wildflower, slurping up the raindrops and growing towards the sunshine,
You might be surprised what wishes come true
Now that I've taken root.
i could swear that the day you left
the clouds opened like a door
and a grand stairwell climbed the sky
the sun shining down upon you
leading you to your creator

And over time,
My pen stopped bleeding
But my heart didn't

The way
your dimples hold
Sunshine
I get tan
Just by looking at
Your smile
