nobody can truly know
another person's trouble

even if they walk the same
path there are different rocks
underfoot.

These are not
raindrops
      these are my
Tears
      falling
      moist and heavy
this is not
the wind
     this is the
sound of
     my Heart
     ripped open
or is it
     ripe and open
     like a bright red
ripened pomegranate
on a tree branch
     burst open
     nothing to hold in
the little crimson drops
     falling

It begins with just a whisper,
A hint of murmur,
Some quiet tremor
Of warmth.

Growing stronger each moment,
The flutter turns into
A familiar song
Of tenderness.

The sound flows clearly now,
Gushing like waves on
A distant shore
Of silence.

An ethereal orchestra is already
Masterfully performing,
The rhythmic tune
Of affection.

And soon, the unbroken melody
Softly transforms into
The ageless symphony
That is a cat's purr.

Illusions of permanence are cutting the very
Depth of this mind while it
Overflows with thoughts and
Never-ending clouds bring
'
Tears to remind how
Knowledge is the whirlwind while
Not-knowing is the silent center; still the
Ongoing winds keep tearing down every
Withered leaf from the tree of my heart.

Another one of those late-night poems. Of the kind that don't let go until they're written down on paper, but the moment they're out there, a serenity overtakes your whole being...
Usually, people think that I’m a strong, happy person
but do they look behind my smiles
and see how much I’m in pain and almost broken?
Do they? Really?!
My wandering thoughts about how actually people think.
In the middle of a forest
In a realm as dark as night
A ruthless army watches
And awaits the bane of light

A formless creature brings a babe
A girl whose sacrifice
Will bring the end of all mankind
Her judgment cold as ice

A child bred in darkness
A creature with twisted soul
Her eyes burn with fire
Her deeds as black as coal

The giggle from her lips
Bring wails of tortured cries
For all those that hear it
Know they soon will die

The air is full of tension
No sound can be heard
And everyone is waiting
For a dreaded spoken word

Her scream releases legions
Demons filled with lust
Her finger points toward man
Her sneer filled with disgust

The day ends in a massacre
Her fingers drip with blood
The bodies that she sits on
Could drown the earth in flood

Child of darkness smiles in glee
Her triumph none will doubt
She screams in glorious victory
The creature that hell spat out
Tell me if you understand
How we can lose so much
Blood soaks freedom’s land
Air choking from death’s touch

We say we fight for rights
While taking theirs away
With the power of our might
We make night from day

Blackness in our soul
We are cowards, liars, thieves
Increasing is the death toll
Ignorant to their grief

All of us are hypocrites
We are demons in God’s name
We let Him take all hits
We point towards Him the blame

Sinners all are we
And death we deserve
He should have let us be
Satan we chose to serve

Instead he chose to save
His son laid down his life
Then rose he from the grave
Freed we are from strife

I bow my head and weep
For me he took it all
The price did not come cheap
So go I will at the call
