Josephine, Josephine, Josephine, Josephine
I told you to leave my man alone

Josephine, Josephine, Josephine, Josephine
You did not listen, now you reap what you did sow

Your beauty was beyond compare
But now you're left with half your hair
And he seems to have lost interest in you, Josephine

I told you, "stay away from him!"
But your superficiality won him
Now, as it fades, the spell breaks, Josephine

I always knew my love was true
And without me, he would feel blue
He called several nights to say so, Josephine

Today he's back, regretting he left
But guess what happens, happens for the best
He wont leave love again for lust, Josephine

Josephine, Josephine, Josephine, Josephine
I thank you for trying to take my man

Josephine, Josephine, Josephine, Josephine
He's learnt his lesson - love him truly, only I can!
Inspired by what bex did with Dylan's Hey Mr. Tambourine Man, even though this is nothing in comparison. I wanted to try something nonetheless. So, when I was listening to Dolly Parton's Jolene, I thought "this is it. I'm going to poemify this song."
I'd love to see a better take though, and learn. :)

If you haven't already, the beautifully crafted Hey Mr. Tangerine Man, by bex, here-

Get Your Casket*

Dig deeper, deeper, deeper.
Dig your own grave and try
To scramble out of the hole again
Insisting this is not goodbye.

My darling, this is your end
I could never tell you a lie.
This was your last chance, last mistake,
and now your time is nigh.

Don't Test Us*

Turn around and run,
Your too far out of your league.
Why you insist on fighting us,
Is a matter of intrigue.

Do you believe you're brave?
Or are you ignoring your own timidity?
Do you believe you're courageous?
Or are you convinced by your stupidity?
I'm going to be taking lines from Bermuda Triangle by ZICO (feat. DEAN and Crush) and writing whatever the line inspires. Their content won't be related but they're all from the same song so that makes them connected...right?

Why I always have this feeling when I enter this room
I smell the scent of cologne which is not from yours or mine
How about the color of curtains, it's not my favorite
And there's an extra empty glass beside your glass of wine

I feel like I am no longer welcome when I enter your room
I don't see the smile on your face like what I saw before
The music that you play is no longer my favorite one
Everything I see and feel reminds me that you care no more
Inspired by the title of a movie about an unusual love triangle (a man,  a gay and a woman).

i love you
you love her
but she loves him

men, isn't it that cool?

we're the *same
this is when the guy i love, loves someone else but that someone else love someone else....
You know
I'm still in-love
With you
There's nothing
that I wouldn't do

Peace in my heart
Is yours to take

A piece of my heart
Is yours to break

I used to think
Loving you
Was so right
But it was a big mistake
I do not
Want to fight

My heart is yours
To break

A piece off of my heart
Now that we are apart

Your love is there
For me to take
But a piece of my heart
I have to break

At one corner there is you
connected to another two
you don't know which one to choose
I'm glad I'm not in your shoes

Love is Square
it is equal in each corner

Jealously is Triangle
sharp in every edge

Longing is Round
endless
the correlation is real tho

There was a man in a bright white suit.
His date was dressed in charcoal gray.
Dressed were they for a dance at school.
“You look quite dapper!” most would say.

His date’s best friend was also there.
Dressed in white with beautiful hair.
Her date was dressed in charcoal gray.
The same color to his dismay.

The man in the white suit noticed
That the dates’ grays matched perfectly.
A red blotch on his chest showed this.
The girl in white talked carelessly.

Her dress remained pure, without mark.
His suit was all white, but the heart.
The man broken, ready to die.
Her, clueless, not even a sigh.

The man began to long for her,
Even though she was not his date.
He felt so hurt, he was not sure.
Should he tell? Or is it too late?

He had wanted to share this pain,
But her pure white dress would be stained.
He dropped the sin between the two,
Leaving the girl without a clue.

As of now that blotch shows bright red.
Only his date knows what it means
Or wise folk whom this poem have read.
The white dressed girl still purely gleams.

I hurt you and I'm so sorry. I knew from the bottom of my heart. I knew that you liked him; but what am I supposed to do. What am I supposed to do when I like him too. I like him so much and I'm not willing  to give him up. He makes me a better me. I got my first kiss and you got heartbreak. I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry. I made you feel like ****. I don't know what to do but I can't give him up. Not this one. All I can say is I'm sorry, but you had your chance.
