Think of the moments,
You stop everything, and stare,
Sometimes, not looking at anything,
Sorting, energy, into thoughts,
That arrive so fast, out of no where,
The best ideas & solutions,
Are not always, a long drawn out plan,
Often they just arrive,
As if someone, just placed them in your hand.

The star's in the dark sky,
Are just a reflection of the sun's light,
They never touch, each other,
Only the reflection, of the rays,
Connects them, a few hours, during the night.
Like when someone say's they love you,
Although, your alone in bed every night,
As your thoughts start to drift,
Will tomorrow, be another dark cloudy day,
Or will the sky be clear,
And your day will shine very bright.

Did you love me?
Or was it just my laughter at your jokes—
my habit of giggling, even at your half-shady pokes?

Did you love me?
Or did I just have the time?
Did you think, “Yeah, she’s not half bad. This could be just fine.”

Did you love me?
Or were you just scared—
tired of doing life alone, craving a body that cared?

Was it real for you? Or just another game?
Was I a plot point in your story
because the chapters had gotten tame?

These thoughts still haunt me—
and the truth I’ll never know.
Mostly because I’d never ask—
and I wouldn't survive you saying “no.”
Some flowers bloom but never grow,
Their roots too shy to let you know.
Your lunar petals, pale and bright,
Still haunt my garden every night
This bends my mind.
Welds my thoughts, turning them into gold.
The heartbeat within me slows and speaks.
It twists like metal wrapping around my being.
Like the beams of highway lights, the day's light lingers.
It lingers in a wayward manner,
seemingly afraid to depart,
turning in and wielding light.
Inside out, it seeks a dark place to shelter.
This life surrounds me.
It’s paper confetti and barbed wire—
always bending and never breaking,
celebrating and awakening.
Tell me, what is it that we are forsaking?

If you're so selfless,
Why does it bother you no one notices?

Your thoughts & dreams, guide you through, this life’s stay,
They can change with decisions and opportunities, in many ways,
Some can bring you comfort, as if a companion, on a lonely day, Visions, take time, something you do now must fade.
You can create many excuses, convince your self to hold and stay,
Or you can take the dream,  decide, what in your life, to set aside.
Do you need the change or you more afraid of a tear, in your eye,
Answer is inside of you, the  way to know, a positive attitude, try,
Some dreams, you have in this life, you wish they would come true,
A question  how to create them, where to start, what is there to do,
Will it be the right path,  a positive direction, only you can choose.

Beneath the weight of the moon, won't we
resemble all these shattered constellations

And finding a good place to feel sad; is my
reflection melting out of your eyes– a scene
of when tears cascade down your cheeks,
when I always seem so far away

As the echoes of all bygone aspirations fade
into the hue of cosmic dust; my voice fails in
calling out your name – as every fallen star
falls out of its spark, betrayed by the dark

In Time, and Again… is where we rediscover
the essence of falling in love again.
