stank man Feb 2017
raggid sharp points
cutting skin and flesh
graising what you once held
soft nimble fingers, which now tightly grip my neck
life leaving my eyes as i see the passion burn in yours
heart racing
your silohette leaving distant memorys of which i wont live to remember
your hands look so much bigger in fists
but i guess it just goes to show
everything is bigger in texas
Working front register at Starbucks
you ask a little boy in green
if he likes Minecraft
What the coolest thing
he ever built was
then watch
As his family
and the whole line behind them
gasp, fall silent
stare at you
with standing ovation eyes
as he lights right up
to tell you all about it

The leaves crunch underneath
My bare feet that tread on a path
Strange, ubiquitous and unique
I looked up just in time to see
The eyes of the trees staring back at me
It was getting dark, I needed to find shelter quickly
Before I ended up in some giant cats stomach quickly

So i broke branches and bark and bound them together with the remains of parts from the crash
A plane brought me here, and thankfully the fire didn't last
I grabbed what I could, food, drinks, spare parts and some supplies
Hopefully, prayerfully these meager items would allow me to survive.

I didn't go too far away, as the crash was on the beach
So I stuck to the trees above the wreckage and   above most predators eager to dine on me...

Sometimes
we call them planets
Sometimes
we call them atoms
The wise man knows that there is no difference
He knows that they are truly one and the same
Within the same universe
Concept from Minecraftś End Poem
¨Sometimes it called those flecks ¨electrons¨ and ¨protons¨. Sometimes it called them ¨planets¨ and ¨stars¨.

I find myself locked in a chamber of blocks
I'm not sure of the time since I don't have a clock
And it might have been days but my head's in a haze
Hell it may have been weeks since I entered this maze

My route might be round and I'm hearing these sounds
That suggest maybe soon my own death might be found
There's clanking and groaning, I just heard a hiss
This shrub with a face looking awfully ******

I dismissed of the notion of friendly emotion
The plant just exploded and caused a commotion
There's lava and gravel just fell on my head
If I didn't fall sideways I'd likely be dead

But I fell down a ledge and another live hedge
Snuck up and demolished some half of the edge
So now I'll dig up but I don't have a pick
It's awfully hard since the stone is quite thick

And my friends are all ***** and they don't hear my screams
From this pit in a cavern knee deep in a stream
So please take my advice 'fore you dig in the earth
It's more likely than not going to not be quite worth it
Inspired by Yahtzee's wonderful poem about FTL (found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hi-VNkT57oE), I decided to write a poem about Minecraft. This is something I never anticipated doing, but anyway, here it is!

Walking into the woods
I stared at giant redwood trees
The leaves being crushed under my feet
I sat beside the wise tree and looked up into the moon
Listening to the cries of overhead flying loons
The silence was a sound itself, it was strange to hear myself think for once
I sat there reading and thinking until down went the sun,
I got up and left my small haven in the woods, returning to My meager shelter
Torches ablaze as I returned home
It calmed my inner helter-skelter
A minecraft poem
I stand on the edge of the mine,
while I wait for my potions to brine,
I mine all day long.
Maybe I’m wrong,
But there could be diamonds right there.
I mine for that blue shine in despair.
Hoping that Iĺl find it here
Trying to be a Musketeer,
I went straight down,
Im looking around,
But no diamonds!
Iĺl never see the horizon
until Iĺl find the shine
It may be the life line.
We all felt like this before. Mining for diamonds, looking for that blue rock. And finally finding them. Even for a pro, you'll always remember that first shine.
