And it went like this
The fourth and fifth
The miner falls
And the major lifts
The puzzled king
Composing his sins
And came the time
the saint came for the prime
All was left
A troubled soul
Hunting the  lives
Killing the many wives
All were left by his sides
The broken curseificator

Some of her wiring had come loose
She had burnt out like toast
left on too high a setting

Now her brain needed a reboot
It had come to this
be plugged into a mainframe

she did not feel a thing
just a small sharp scratch
and the pleasant scent of the oxygen mask

wakes up a little blurry
mouth a little furry
but new connections made

a few weeks on
she can spark up a smile again
an electro convulsive treat
I'm midway through a course of ect if you were wondering! Its a mystery as to how but somehow it does have a positive impact on my mental health! Thank goodness as I've had a very bad low recently(I'm bipolar 2) and been in hospital. x

You stopped cutting your skin so you're cutting your ties now, to help you feel strong but you're just feeling alone and the things that you feel just make your heart sink like a stone.

If it's hard to relate it's because you don't have enough time. So you sit there in school and get drunk off of cheap wine. And you're not feeling loved so you wonder who will sleep with you tonight.

And since the last time, I don't think I can stand you. You play my guitar and sing hallelujah. You won't look at me twice and I think it's alright if you just say good bye for now.

You went off to college and followed in her foot steps. Blank stare and things best left unsaid. You never said "so long." You just left it all instead.

Pray for me,
God knows I need your prayers.
Amen.
Wish better on me,
God knows I'm beat down by naysayers.
Amen.
Eyes and hearts so vacant,
Starlet-smile empty shells.
Amen.
Easy words, complacent.
Open lips and full-up hells.
Amen.
Amen.
God is love, take me to church.
He knows I need something in my heart.
Hallelujah.
Accept me, catch me in this downward lurch.
God save the poor broken thing, this heart.
Hallelujah.
God is light, take me to church,
Darkness never scared me this much.
Hallelujah.
Please, don't hurt me, aide this search.
I can't think over the loudness, it's too much.
Hallelujah.
**Hallelujah.

there is not always hope
And that is depressing,
but also, inspiring.
hope in God, hope in the universe
in humanity, in family, in friends
hope in authority, hope in power
in karma, in school
hope in yourself.
so many places hope can be lost.
But it is our decision to make.

There is not one person, not one thing,
there is no army nor one disaster that could take your hope away from you.
Except yourself.
You choose hope.
Hope is yours.
and hallelujah for that
hallelujah for hoping in ourselves
hallelujah to the bright eyed seven year old boy
giving his happy meal to a homeless man
hallelujah to the stiletto wearing women
inviting friends to stay the night
hallelujah to Martin Luther King
hallelujah to the sun, rising each morning
and hallelujah to your mother
for not caring that your best friend likes the way you look in your swimsuit

Was birthed in war
From womb was called
To conquer
To praise
As David did
To cast away
To let my body sway
In light is life

Years drag
Eyes beheld
Hands have felt
What was not meant for me
Suddenly I'd seen
Barren before me
What was once green
In darkness lies death

A crimson streak
At the age of sixteen
Redeemed
Trees scream green
In His eyes tears gleam
He says
"My child
All the while
You ran to hide
All the times
I saw you cry
I stayed at your side"
And all at once
I saw Him hung
Stained in scarlet
Ribs parted
He wore the broken-hearted
His bones splintered for me

Max the unlovable
Has a stained-glass heart
With an unlit candle
An ancient death
Begets the spark
Seen miles through the night
In light there is life
Personal prayer is all very well and good.

Sunday morning worship is all fine and dandy.

But ya know what?

Sometimes you just need to throw your arms in the air and bellow, "HALLELUJAH!"

*Love those kids

It wasn't not a cry
that he heard all night
It wasn't a man
loosing all sight
A tiny soul
Fining it's howl
Crushing all up
the numbered lines
For all
It lumbered
To brake the hallelujah
And who knew in million days
The men would say
What they conveyed
As all he could
To cough art
Sneeze painting
And cry upon music
For the illness
Became the endless
Hallelujah
The broken hallelujah
First four lines come from the song hallelujah by Jeff Buckley
