Eyes stare at me from within flowers
engulfing me in a fever-dream of light
storms rage then twist to limp showers
sprites sense the menace and take flight
In such beauty I find paradoxical peril
grabbed by the weeded floor of the ravine
suffocating on this gleaming world turned feral
I succumb to my death of melancholy green
based upon the painting by John Everett Millais

Blues and grays
Greens and pinks
They swirl around them
Shifting and
Spinning
Almost flying as
The two dance

Light touches
Light steps

One
Two
Three

One
Two
Three

A small smile on her lips
It's soft and pink
A flower petal that has fallen
With cloudy sky blues
Upon her body
Placed delicately on her
The sky shifts as she spins
Light gray clouds
Running away

A small smile on her lips
Light pink
A soft cloud at sunset
And sharp greens
Like grass blades
Swaying in the wind
And growing closer
So beautiful

The two flow
Like water in a stream
Smiles coming closer
Mouths moving closer
Sky filled lips
With stars and wind
With rain and storms
And an earth filled gaze
With seeds and flowers
With life and death
And two girls
Dancing
And
Kissing
Twirling calmly
In love
One word: gay

Golden colored morning,
Gleaning grasses so green,
So much sharp those blades of grass,
Filled those fields so high,
Birds are playing flutes with fun,
Harmony mixed in the air,
Cherries have blossomed in the scene,
Now they are all looking pink,

Walking through them like,
Paradise born and bred,
But for how long those green had stayed,
It was just a dream, always a stream,
Nonetheless, a beautiful dream it was,
But where is the field now,
With all those greenish blades,
Glittering rays of the sun,
A blueish span of the ocean,

Had it shone through eternity,
Now it all seems like a broken seed,
No more dreams with colorful grasses,
No more glittering sun,
Birds with fun are all but gone,
Pinkish blossoms dried,
I can close my eyes once again,
But all are black and void,
I have lost the touch of thee,
For this might be the end of eternity.

Emerald flower
A beauty like no other
But you camouflaged
Doubted your sweet oddity
Seized by insecurity

Make me green again.
Like pine, emerald, envy
Paint me my color

Find the light masked by vision,
Hidden within;
With unseen precision

Unravel the tale,
see through the lies;
The act

Observe closely,
As not to miss it;
A  glimpse of the hidden

The beauty within;
Hiding from the world
Can be found ;
With closer inspection

Ask a question
Tell a truth
Share a secret

Be open
Share  light with the surrounding darkness

Tell the tale of the flower;
Though it may seem bright,
There are many untold sequences
That help it to thrive

Use metaphors to convey a past,
Show what shall be seen,
Shine through at last
To  tell the tales of what was once unseen
I was kinda inspired by "A Fault in Our Stars" By John Green...though that may seem cheesy...
I wasn't expecting the ending, but the book is based off of a true story, so I suppose that just adds to how real it all is.
