Walking barefoot in the snow
Frostbite black on his toes
The night had been 10 below
He was deaths only beau
Blood stained white,
fade to red
In the night,
scared dead
Lovers lost,
canyon cave
Alone in sorrow,
snowy grave
He left out,
years ago
Twas the night
Massacre, oh
He loved his family,
now we know
He was crazy,
this is so
Shot his wife
Mrs. Jo
Smashed his sons,
face slow
It was spontaneous
killings, no
He had said,
turn to stone
Jeffy Jo grew up in the hills of Appalachia. He worked in the coal mines all his life and made just enough to keep food on the table. He managed to get by, for a while. Taking care of his wife and son was the only thing he really cared about. When The old mine shut down Jeffy had to turn another direction and seeing how he could barely write his name let alone read the opportunity for employment was limited. This is when it all started really. Jeffy felt stranded and alone. He must have done the only thing he felt was right for him and his. After it all happened, I guess he up and left. Supposedly he walked to montana. I always thought Jeffy was a little strange, but I never knew he was demented.

Cold stone statues of all shapes and sizes
Chilled to the moss covered bone
Standing *****, markers of time
Weather worn words, passages of years

A place of disasters, heartbreak and crime
All gathered there, forgotten by time
As the trees bend to the seasons
And the passing of years

A lone figure dressed in black
Stands above an unnamed gravestone
Reflecting on past memories
Of someone he had known.

Brown wet clinging clay lies
Heaped by the side of a black hollow
Waiting for another invited guest
As the bell tolls, mournfully

I've got a dozen words in my head,
They sound like poetry,
But a little dead,
Like ghost of words,
I would've said,
But Ive changed.
It's sounds like poetry,
Cause it's both a blessing,
And a curse,
He screamed,
To feel everything so,
Deeply,
It wasn't he,
Was me,
I said that,
Ghost words,
Ghost words,
But baby,
They're beautifuly,
Arranged,
Like the flowers at a new grave,
Cause no body comes back,
No body visits,
These ghost words,
Yeah poetry,
Dead poets society,
A newbie down here does not know where to go
Kept on doing crazy poems for daisies out there.
She knows that the line she made were true
True as the sun strikes her dry skin
Asks for a little guide from the older roses
Hey! Please help me and drag me from this grave.
help oh please

One of these days I won't be so alone.

See you at my tombstone.

Crossing beside a gravestone path
as the sky closes in
Foot falls meet with deaf ears
and the clouds open up
Looking over the regrown grass
Where the rain came down
Where I know youd be looking back
In the fog we drown

You never told me
and now its too late
you werent the only victim
why couldnt you wait?

Open to me,
we could both breathe
You breathe through me
please speak wholly!
Open to me!

Please dont fool me!
Don't undo me
You have to speak
Now, speak through me
Open to me!

A path between old headstones
A suffering you didnt know!
If tears furnish the weeds
On the trail growing
Better than the water
from you to me
the path outlined
To your souless tomb
will grow stronger
Please make room!

Open to me,
we could both breathe
You breathe through me
please speak wholly!
Open to me!

Please dont fool me!
Don't undo me
You have to speak
Now, speak through me
*Open to me!
My best friend and I wrote this song. It's about a really good friend I had who killed themselves a couple months back. I didn't know about it till the day of the funeral.

Nigel the soldier
Shoulders big as boulders
Up over the top
Tried not to stop
Tripped on some wire
Dodged all gun fire
Jumped back up again
Then it started to rain
Got to the other side
In one giant stride
Took some enemy out
They began to shout
Nowhere else to go
In a place he didn't know
Nigel the brave
Resting forever in an unmarked grave
