An old horse smiles behind my mouth.
Scars of time hang from its gums.
Physical renditions of the ticking hand,
Going around the sun,
Beating down,
Weighing down.

Unveiling true identity
comes after much suffering
What is true
cannot but hide forever

The veil protects the lamb
From being caught off-guard
The veil of name,
place, fortune and fame.

The veil keeps identity hidden
Till the lamb is ready to bare
Bare it does, in due time
For the purpose is known
To the lamb of innocent care

unveiling true identity
comes after much suffering
What is true
cannot but hide forever

The veil protects the lamb
From being caught off-guard
The veil of name,
place, fortune and fame.

tarnished child
who the zoo
is not new
to

time, present, past and
future
are all
redeemable

and I ought to
have told you
before

it's not a heart
beating
but a drumming
from before that
sounds like

a record of
its own accord

30 years,
bare and white
baring, daring, breathing
