Basic Attention Token
we all gotta cache, like a cistern.

Tis tension implanted deep in lower chakras
more, more, teasing, tugging, twisting
crying ever, more, more,

it is a flaw,
go, and stay connected, I understand
-- wait
-- the txt is for the single participant act
no mention is made, save the very act, guest
I guess, we guessed,
the man got away,
but, nobody asks,
like I assume they assume they know
- taken, in the very act -
full, full, fill the law to the jot
whittle me a key,
pick this lock, unravel the complexity.
- casting lots for the garment
- knitted from one thread,
New Testament Greek between the himatia
(literally “over-garments”)
and the seamless robe,
which is chiton,
(literally "tunic" or "coat").

Words do sometimes fit

with someone's situation --

as a deep insight.

You’re such a tease you ease between nonchalant and fervour • I favour the latter the scattershot words of intent • you invent new ways to torture me oh fortunate me to be the subject of such cruelty • what is a man to do that’s caught in the crosshairs of a shrew • to reciprocate with such hapless abandon or offer up random excuses why he must refuse this attention • my heart tried to stage an intervention but the other members rejected the motion • it's already had some wear and tear so please can you just handle with care.

When he concentrates,

his legs begin to tremble –

then he says something.

You say I'm wrong
but you know I'm right
which is why we always fight.

I try to be the best I can
but you just want the attention of a man
not the love or care I give

threatening to take my life
when its already yours
I want to make you happy

you just want the money
you don't care
I don't understand...
I want to love you
but I just can't

No matter what I do
it's never enough
I'll do want you to want

just please accept my love
I'll do anything for you
as long as your mine
This is about a girl who only cares about money and herself. Her parent (the man in the poem) will give her anything she wanted, even though she does want his love or to love him. He tries to make it work. but she ends up making him seem like the "Bad guy" in the relationship. All he wants is love. She wants money and attention. He gave her both, now he wants love in return. But she refuses to give it. now he fights to gain her heart while she pushes him away.

Moon behind branches –

Don't think about it, but look:

moon behind branches.

my voice has grown tired
screaming for attention
my cries falling off what
seems like deaf ears.
I know you hear me.
I know you're in there.
I shake my fists at your face,
wanting so badly to hit you,
so that you might notice my display.
I want to grab you by the shoulders
and shake you senseless,
then maybe you'd hear my plea.
and I wouldn't feel so helpless
If you'd stop and look at me.
my voice has grown tired and quite horse
and still you remain quiet
so I wait
and I wait some more
and still; I don't hear a word.
so I curl up on the floor
and grieve everything I have heard.
please won't you listen..

Everything blossoms

in light and heat, attention –

is just like sunshine.

I hold a very little box
with very little things
little thoughts
little clippings
of smaller things
I often fold myself up
and place myself in
waiting in my little box
there sitting
for a little time
for a little while
I’m not asking for much
I sit with a little smile
nothing bigger than the box
nothing more than two
room for me
and a little of you
