in the night
all by yourself,
with some tunes
in the background
to hit you with the memories,
they all seem very real
you'd thought they
would simply disappear,
but a lot of time
has gone by since
and now here you are
where even the walls have ears,
having heard many stories
over the years
so what's it going to be tonight?
'hold my hand',
says the hour hand to the minute hand
of the wall clock,
tick tock!
as time seems to pause
and you deep dive
into the music,
lyrics and instruments
with their own
ups and downs,
yet in perfect coherence
the harmony taking you places,
feels like a nightcap
for some midnight nostalgia
coming back,
you snap out of it
as the sound waves
fade way
in distance
'well, that was a nice little adventure...
onto the next one!',
your mind goes.
an ode to a little midnight nostalgia induced by great music.
The lighting from afar
Near sight of hope
Seeing an absurd vanity of believe
O thou Golden gate
Endearing truimph on fragmented victory

Loud low-pitches
Sending messages afloat miles
Upon glittering luster of waves
Telling the wind it's courage
Professing life on Sea

Corne de brume
Welcome aboard our feeryboat
Corne De Brume talks about the life on Sea. It's actually the French word for Foghorn.

Quick drive
Strong hands
Loud mind

Both you and me
Are as tired
As daytime

Old music
Slow mail
Aged wine

But you and I
Are as young
As tonight
for aeh, my constant for the past recents.

Peering across fields
looking to the horizon
creating images in my head
before the day even started

Snakes hide quickly
under the grass
exaggerating fens
feel like a big puddle

Storks nest together
on top of high poles
fox and marten watch
you can hear them sneak

Rabbit happily hops
from one hole to another
sheep looks on woolly
how do they keep it up

Frogs make paths
in the drifting sand
handy for the ants
marching across
the sandy path

Highlander grazes hairy
grass for grasshopper away
Woodpecker breaks bark
Cuckoo goes insane

A deer shoots away
is looking for a safe pasture
There is space enough
for a whole pack
all come along

you drag me along on an adventure
not explaining where we’ll go
when i ask you what we’re doing
you grin and say you don’t know
we drive forever on endless roads
i stop questioning after a while
you sing to the radio with such enthusiasm
i can’t help but smile
we stop at a garage to fill up the truck
a faded sign says “ice cream this way”
i shrug and help you find the freezer
we argue, you relent, i pay
i’m barely awake when the trip finally ends
and you’re pulling me out of the door
you’re filling the truck bed with blankets
while i can’t figure out what for
you helped me in and shifted the blankets
then wrapped your arms around me too
you wanted to look at the stars
i just wanted to stare at you
I don’t post often, because stress and mental health issues mess with my creativity. Apologies.

Phrases hang in the sky
words grow on a tree
ideas float on water
it's all ordinary to me

Grass is the parchment
on which I write stories
my thoughts a jar of ink
I use to describe the glories

The world is my sketchbook
full of imaginary tales
which I still have to write
unhidden by any veils

The pen is my greatest love
which I play by hand
my stories, I bind them together
in the boundless poets land

“The edge is not the limit....
It's only the starting point!”
You shout as you hurl yourself off the cliff
Into the unknown,
No need to be fearful of the unexplored,
No need to hold yourself back no more,
For the unknown is where the joy and adventure is,
Where hidden delights and pleasure
And hitherto unrevealed love and kindness
Are patiently waiting for you
To take that leap of faith
And to welcome you
Into the unknown
Into the bliss
