I asked the vampire
If it hurt his mind
To feed on the living
And to leave time behind

I asked the ghost
If it pained his soul
To know he was no more
Than a formless immortal

I asked the werwolf
If it tormented his heart
To know how he mindlessly
Rips people apart

They all answered yes
It pained them so
To know of the sorrow
That they themselves sow

They weeped at the thought
They cried for the dead
Tears dripped from their eyes
As they hung their head

I asked them of their home
Of the shadows in which they live
They went utterly silent
They had only horror to give

But in all honesty
The shadows seem nice
They called it evil
Filled with rats and mice

Next time you want life
Or strength beyond measure
Or more time with family
Just simply remember

Choose your words wisely
Or you will live feeling sad
Say what you mean
Or you will be had

I’m strong enough not to let you see me fall apart
So I hide my cries between my sighs.

I’m strong enough to stand alone against the cold landscape
So I hide my sadness between fake faces.

I crave, I starve, I wonder
And get lost in the process.
Then end up getting back to where I started.

How far will I stay strong?
How far will I carry along this dying song?
When will I ever belong?
......

..
.

I always talk on how poetry is an embark journey of mine. But more often I came back with recurring questions. I can say “I’m strong enough” but for how long, how far long will I go, or how much more I can take… big sighs…

They would hold their  hands up
High in search of golden nuggets,
Their dummies held up to the sky.

The map showing them where X did
Mark a spot, they crawled on their
Merry way, through sand they did
Crawl, slowly never would they stop.

They didn't want it in a skull *****,
X marked the brown pongy spot. A
Bottom full of sand would slow a
Pirate baby down, making them
Uncomfortable  crying as their treasure
Unreached they would have had to stop.

They crawled under fallen trees, through
Shrub and looked up, and saw the branches
Reaching for the sky. They were nearly
There they had crawled for 20 feet and
Stopped twice for nap times, as it was
Far away in baby steps not like big foot.

They had reached there goal with dummies
In hand, many dangers faced but together
As a crew they got to the treasured land.

X was their goal and it did mark a spot,
Where the golden nuggets shined in that
Spot. Where the rusks had that golden tint,
And that yummy taste as they went down
With a bottle Of hot milk in hand that really
Hit that nap time spot.

Dummies held up high they had reached that
Promised land, where treasure was eaten an
Then nap time was coming close to hand, gogo
And goodnight.

Beauty within a cage once free
To taste the air through its
Porcelain skin.

Imprisoned beauty only to be
Seen by one, concealed it doesn't
Taste the light.

It wilts in solitude, as petals fall
Like tears on to the shredded paper
Floor of this caged place.

A beauty imprisoned now its grace
Fallen, What was elegance upon a
Stem lies naked tears upon the floor.

Poetry is art
      Poetry is visual

Poets can see the words

The way a play write
Can see the actors on stage
       with every line he writes

The way a musician
Can see the notes dance on air
       with every key she plays

The way a sculptor
Can see the final sculpture
with every cut of their knife

The way a painter
Can see the waves of the ocean
        with every stroke of blue
                  on a blank canvas

Poetry is visual
      Poetry is art
            Poets are artists
       They write **from the heart

Forgive me
Today
For I'm done living
Yesterday pains

Forgive me
Today
For I'm breaking
Tomorrow promises

Forgive me
Today
For I don't wish
Staying awake

Forgive me
Today
For all the memories
Forever save

Forgive me
Today
For tomorrow I might
Take my life away...
