is it okay to follow these trends,
do you want to continue to bend to the fads in society,
i'm not one of those who preach about anarchy or being enlightened,
but allow me to shed a light on this issue,
because it is a disease that is slowly killing our youth,
because YOUTH is a prime time,
we find out who we are,
what we wanna be,
completely undefined by the externalities,
you see thats the purpose of out youth,
to find us.

but the need for Michael kors and a versace purse,
has clouded the minds of the innocent recipients,
they know it's wrong but purse their lips to be as popular as that other *****,
guys want cars and the latest sneakers,
girls need MAC and Victoria secrets,
it's ok to want nice things,
but when you let it define who you are,
you have nothing left
The truth shall set you free

the momentary silence is piercing,
the laughs and screams of joy fade into nothing,
i look at the passing clouds as they float on by without a momentary glance,
i see the joy in our eyes and we eat, laugh and drink like this moment is our last,
we pass through the streets as if we have no thoughts of anything else in that moment,
because time is golden and i sold mine away for a dime!

she watched her move
gracefully and quiet
she moved with purpose
but she remained silent
her eyes betrayed her though

HOLLOW eyes pierced into mine
they reflected my future
they dug out my past
i stared back at the endless pits that seemed to draw me in
and reached out a hand to save us both

i touched glass because i was looking in the mirror
she was my reflection and her touch was cold
her tears trickled down her face
sad
angry
confused

we stared endlessly

their gazes cut silently at my flesh,
they wish me nought but pain and death,
i breathe in deep in hopes of inner-peace,
but come up short as their claws pierce my skin,
see my words create images in your head,
so remember this as you lay your head,
words can heal just as easily as they can ****.

I remember remembering you. us. them,
I stared blankly at the passing clouds as they didn't even spare me a glance and moved away,
I tried to follow them. But they were oddly cluster and identical in appearance. I was a rain cloud among them. Just. like. you.

so.
i remember those idle memories they men nothing but stand for everything. it never makes sense so like me... stare blankly and remember there's nothing there
She dipped her fingertips in paint

And left her identity on my canvas
