POETRY IS ART,
Like PAINTING WORDS
with a PAINTBRUSH,
VERY SLOWLY, DON'T RUSH,
LYRICAL WORDS as to
an ARTIST PAINTING PALLETTE,
Giving a VISUAL EFFECT of
POETIC GIVEN TALENT.
Every STROKE of the BRUSH,
Is to the WORDS that are DRAMATIC,
When your CREATIVITY is DONE,
You look upon it and say:
FANTASTIC!!!!
It may have TAKEN A WHILE but
yet you're STILL VERY PROUD,
YOUR WRITINGS DO STAND OUT,
IT'S ACCOMPLISHED, COMPLETE
and AS AN ARTIST YOU SMILE!!!

If I were a shooting star,
I would be free
Grant People wishes and Let it Be
You could watch me fly as I start to Soar
Make dreams come true and
so much more.

Across the Horizon and
through the Night Sky
The Galaxies, planets, and
so very high
Past the moon and past the planets
Up, up, and away and passing by orbits.

As the Earth Orbits around the Sun
As the twinkling stars twinkle in the sky
As the shooting star shoots right by
Across the Night Sky So Very, very High!!

If I were a Shooting Star Wow!!
What a Sight!!
To see me Shoot Across the Sky at Night.
A Spectacular Vision, you must see.
To make a wish and to only believe!!

YESTERDAY is gone, so
make room for TODAY,
the OTHER DAYS were HECTIC
have now GONE AWAY,
A DAY of COMPLETE MAYHEM
has now GONE ASTRAY,
It was looking PRETTY ROUGH,
but "WHAT CAN I SAY???"
Just HAPPY to KNOW that
I AM STILL HERE,
YESTERDAY'S TOUGH ISSUES have
now DISAPPEARED,
LORD PLEASE BLESS MY WEEK,
OH, THIS I DO PRAY,
YESTERDAY IS LONG, GONE,
GETTING READY FOR
ANOTHER DAY!!!

They say that LOVE
is a four letter word,
The feeling of
LONGING and ATTRACTION,
A deep feeling of
FONDNESS and TENDERNESS and
of a Deep, Deep
LOVE CONNECTION!!!
LOVE can be defined in so many ways,
It doesn't always have to be about AFFECTION,
There is a FRIENDSHIP and
a FAMILY TYPE OF LOVE!!!
LOVE could also be
seen as PROTECTION!!!

You keep telling us LIES, and
keep FEEDING US FIBS,
you are CONCEALING
HIDDEN SECRETS,
to what you REALLY DID,

You keep TELLING LIES,
from ANOTHER to ANOTHER,
To back up THOSE LIES,
to use another LIE to COVER!!!

You keep SPREADING LIES,
We keep HEARING RUMORS,
But, your LIES will
COME TO SURFACE,
not LATER, but SOONER!!

Now, TELL US THE TRUTH,
You think that we are FOOLISH,
But, We Really are not,
So, come clean with
WHAT YOU DID!!!

Now, TELL US THE TRUTH,
You Keep trying to DECEIVE,
Your LIES sound so DOUBTFUL,
THAT THEY ARE HARD TO BELIEVE!!!

You think you got AWAY,
or that you are GETTING BY,
You BETTER CONFESS and
QUIT TELLING THESE LIES!!!

It's REALLY AMAZING,
The question is WHY???
You LIE SO GOOD,
you BELIEVE YOUR OWN LIES!!!

It not a SUPRISE,
we come to REALIZE,
The TRUTH IS HIDDEN,
Within the LIARS DISGUISE!!!

IT'S seen in your DEMEANOR,
You can't help BUT TO LIE,
Like the BOY WHO CRIES WOLF,
The WOLF ATE HIM ALIVE!!!!

He kept pulling PRANKS,
like HE was GETTING BY,
But, no one BELIEVED HIM,
The LIES lead TO HIS DEMISE!!!!

I don't MAKE A SOUND,
SPEAKING LOUDLY in my MIND,
Cos, of the PEOPLE ALL AROUND!!!

I have SO MUCH I want to SAY,
Just SPILLING OUT MY GUTS, but
In a LOW KEY kind of WAY!!!

SILENT UNSPOKEN CONFESSIONS,
That are Needing to BE OUTSPOKEN,
In ORDER for you to COMPREHEND,
I am TORN and MY HEART IS BROKEN,

I need to STOP BEING SO SILENT,
SO DOCILE, and SO KIND,
PUT MY BIG GIRL PANTS ON, and
REALLY RANT TO YOU WHAT'S ON MY MIND!!!!

I'M TIRED OF HOLDING IT IN,
THESE ARE ONLY PART OF LIFE LESSONS,

Where has my LOVE GONE
for my LOVE has GONE ASTRAY
to the POINT of no RETURN
So DISTANT and FAR, FAR AWAY

My LOVE is NO LONGER AROUND
So, from this TRAUMA I DO PRAY
To MEND MY BROKEN HEART and
FIND HAPPINESS AGAIN ONE DAY!!!
