Shut up.

No.

Vale Luna
Have you ever looked up at the sky
When it was raining
And wondered where the clouds stop?
Because you know
That somewhere across the world
It isn't raining.

So where do the clouds stop?
Is it possible that someone
Is standing right at the edge
Of dry warmth
Gazing out into the cold wetness?

Where do the clouds stop?
Is it possible that someone
Is standing right at the edge
Of where the water falls
Staring out at the daylight?

Where do the clouds stop?
Is it possible to stand
Right at the divide
One hand being hit by raindrops
The other being hit by sun rays?

Where do the clouds stop?

Have you ever looked up at the sky
When it was raining
And wondered when the clouds will stop?
Because you know
That sometime in your future
It won't be raining.

Amy
(You read it from top to bottom and bottom to top)
When we all have to live in it
The world is a bad place
So don't tell me
Right from wrong
Not everyone knows
The right thing
There is no such thing as
People who are both good and bad
But there are
People who are full of hatred
There may be
People who trick and deceive you
Unfortunately, there's
Only negativity
It is not
Okay to cry
The strongest find it is
Best to hide your emotions
It is not
Fine.
So I got ideas for this from the poem 'Refugees' by Brian Bilston.
Well.
I have no idea what to say now XD

Vale Luna
(read forward, then backward, line by line)

I ran.
Not knowing what else to do
There was so much blood on my hands
It was mine
The kitchen knife
Caught in my chest
Guilt
Consumed by
Fear
I was heightened by
Adrenaline
But running on
Wasn’t enough
While trying to stay calm,
Losing control
It was me that would end up
Dead. Because
He was
In front of me
The whole time
It was too late
Trapped
I found myself
Locked in chains
My fate was
Death.
Forward: from the victims perspective.
Backward: from the murderers perspective.

This TOOK ME FOREVER TO WRITE

Meera
I love the candor
Of a mirror
It never fibs
Even when it’s broken
My messy hair
My chapped lips
My pale face
My sunken eyes
My dark circles
My tears
My fears
And my fake smile
It reflects, reveal
And unmask them all
Without pretenses
Prejudices or Delusions

i am so glad that you are the kind of person
who doesn't mind bad poetry.

i am so thankful you are the kind of person
who believes in chivalry.

i am so glad you are the kind of person
who holds doors,
who buys me tea,
who makes sure the umbrella is above my head,
who saves space for me on the sidewalk.

i am so thankful for the kind of person you are.

never change your heart, songbird.
never change.
