I love the candor
Of a mirror
It never fibs
Even when it’s broken
My messy hair
My chapped lips
My pale face
My sunken eyes
My dark circles
My tears
My fears
And my fake smile
It reflects, reveal
And unmask them all
Without pretenses
Prejudices or Delusions
