Stay/Go
TigerEyes Dec 2014
The dance for you/the dance for me
it can always go this way -- or that way
it's a sort of a wait n' see...
There's always the one who wants to stay
n' there's always the one who wants to go
there's always the girl that's on the run
with the boy that wants to know
there's the boy that wants some fun
with the girl that says she's done
there's the one who likes to chase
with the one that likes the race
there's the boy that's always hiding
with the girl that's always crying...
It's a game of stay or go
neither one ever knows
how the dice will ever roll
the bottom line every time
is love can't be controlled.

Wandering Eyes
TigerEyes Dec 2014
The New York man with wandering eyes is teetering on his third ex-wife. He watches all the pretty girls swagger in n' he imagines his hands on their warm skin. He gives them each the up down stare ~ ******* their tight clothes that they wear.

He likes to stare into their pretty eyes/he wants to creep into their lives.

His wife ignores this selfish act n' she'll choose a carefully designed attack with an expensive lawyer behind his back/when she's sure of getting more than half.

And the New York man with wandering eyes that told his third wife all those lies will wonder why he's all alone while he stares at pretty girls on the phone.

Fade To Black
TigerEyes Dec 2014
She wants to fade to black/yeah, her life has finally jumped the tracks
and there's no way to turn it back she can barely breathe/ yeah, she can barely see any kind of future/ let alone with me
I'm on the road with the band n' I can feel her slipping through my hands
I can see she's in so much pain with the hours that remain/Oh, but she's so beautiful when she smiles/her laughter echo's like a child

She wants to fade to black/yeah, her life has finally jumped the tracks and there's no way to turn it back she can barely breathe/yeah, she can barely see any kind of future/let alone with me

That's when she looks up at me and says,
It might just be my time for that train to swing on by. I might take that last ride to find myself on the other side. There's no way to explain all the pain that remains /ripping up my insides/let me go to the other side/Baby, can't you see/it's like blood you can't see dripping slowly out of me

I sing to her awhile/until she laughs/until she smiles/I'm her music man with angel wings/I won't let her fade to black/I won't let her jump the track.

A Feather In The Wind
TigerEyes Dec 2014
Have you ever tried to catch a feather in a gust of wind?
It's in your fingers it's in your hands
then it slips away, and - it's gone again
I am a feather in a gust of wind you'll see me once
but never twice and I'll be kind. Yes, I'll be nice
but I'm your mystery that adds some spice

I never stay I always go I'm the answer you'll never know

I am floating past you above the ground
moving faster than the speed of sound
slowing down in a playful way just to make you wish I'd stay
casting magic in the air I cast illusions on my way

I am a feather in a gust of wind I slip away then I'm gone again
like a mystery you want to know
you'll wish you knew where I go
I'm the feather you can not catch cause' I'm the girl you'll never know

A Million Light Years
TigerEyes Dec 2014
ACT I

He traveled a million light years for her smile
passing stars, and nebula's at the speed of light

this time he was determined to get it right
all for the green eyed girl he'd heard one night
her song had traveled at the speed of sound
he'd picked it up on while floating around
in another dimension he explored
Oh, how he'd fallen in love
while listening to the green eyed girl
she was someone he began to adore
he was traveling at the speed of sound
to be with the love he had found
a million light years away
he couldn't wait to tell her...
" I'm going to love you, forever. I'm here to stay."

The Good American
TigerEyes Dec 2014
The Good American is wearing many shoes
many hats--
while they sing the blues

working tirelessly through the night
in darkened factory's with little light

hoping to live another day
to raise their children safe n' sound
without hate, or -- drugs around

The Good American now works two, or -- three jobs
leaving one at half past six
all their children are home alone
they pray that they don't fall ill, or get sick
their second job they leave at four
before they stumble in the door
their third job is at five
Oh, man they're barely alive
they're blinded by bright sunlight
because they missed it in the night
a repeat of yesterday all over again
they just want their hell to end
The Good American never sleeps
like ants n' bee's or,  tired sheep
they just keep working
to keep working without sleep
they're just trying to stay ahead.
Barely a roof, some food, and -- clothes on their backs
these are the basics that they lack
their own country launching a war on the poor
they're just so tired, and so sore.
The Good American is under U.S. attack
carrying the wealthy on their backs.

Before she became known as Lady Ann
she grew up poor in a far off land
where she worked her fingers to the bones
in her torn n' ragged worn out clothes
She liked to sing to all the birds
as she walked along with her sheep in herds...
Little Ann was just barely seven
when her mother went to heaven
All she knew was toil, and strife...
so she became an expert
at swords n' knifes
One night as she walked on home
in the dark n' all alone...
a robber jumped down from a tree
he was sorry when he felt her knee
strike his crotch so rapidly
her gold sword pressed down upon his chest
he scurried away like a *****
running on back to his gypsy camp...
Word got out to The Knight in town...
he decided to give her a diamond crown
for her courage, and bravery in Greenland
he decided to crown her Lady Ann.

"The Princess Series"
TigerEyes Dec 2014
He's just fiction for now but soon he'll be springing to his feet
bouncing off my Apple screen...
leaping from my Final Draft program,
and -- he'll start to scream his dialogue at me...
                                 (PROTAGONIST)
"******* barefoot Mary Joseph n' John
what n' the limey beans took you so long----
What?! All to give me a **** voice?!
You haven't even given me a choice - mate!
Come on...come on..hurry up
we've got one heck of a writing date!
I've been locked up in here - like forever---
all up inside your brain...
while you were...What?!
trying to come up with a title n' What?!
My **** name!"
I'll have to answer him...
                                     (ME)
"I know, I know --
I'm slow...
it's just this whole time
                   (a beat)
I was carefully crafting your backstory
I wanted to give some obstacles
give you some powers n' incredible force
so you'd have a way to chart your course...
then rise like Hercules or Thor - you know
to give you some kind of wonderful glory
I wanted to give you a fantastic story!"
I was...
In Search of __All of The Above
Last but not least...
I wanted you to fall in Love."
                                 (PROTAGONIST)
Is that why you've got me all dressed up
like I'm going to ****** church?
Man, these shoes make me feel like Lurch...

The Haunting
TigerEyes Dec 2014
You made a wish that I would go away
your energy was so dark...
you finally made me leave that day
that's why I slam the doors when I can
Yes, you're the angry soul that put me where I am
today---

I spend my time floating down river streams
and, at night I like to haunt you in your dreams
I like to move things around
while I hum, or sing...
I especially like misplacing your wedding ring
I like to turn the stereo on just for fun...
I always do this while you clean your gun...

I was watching you from above
curious as to what you'd say
when the police came to our front door
n' how you'd explain all the blood on the floor

btw, when I took my last breath ~
I smeared my blood underneath the door...
it's where I wiped my hand
when I was unable to stand...
just before the dimming of the lights...
before I began tumbling
into a cloud of white.

Now I find myself in-between
floating down river streams
and, haunting you at night
I like to do this in your dreams...
I whisper my name into your ears
I'd go away for good if just once...
I could see you shed a single tear.

I Was Never...
TigerEyes Nov 2014
I was never going to be okay in your eyes
because my eyes are not blue
they're green...
I was never going to be a perfect Vogue model in your eyes
because I'm not anorexic enough for you
I was never going to be smart enough in your eyes
because I'm still learning
I was never going to be quiet enough for you...
because I'm a woman with opinions
I was never going to be a mindless ***-kitten in your eyes
because I'd rather read a book on physics
I was never going to be a hot brunette to you...
because I'm a blonde.

Your charade exists because of this..
the hate you hide
is all inside
the flaws you see
are not in me.

You hung me up
like a mirror on your wall
n' you glance at me
from down the hall...
you see in my eyes
but can't recognize the lies
you've told yourself
this ****** stuff
that made you think
you're not enough...

I am just the mirror.

There are sharks swimming around in this world
bottom dwellers who feed off the floor...
sometimes finding a way though your door
Hating their life as much as they do...
they throw their own **** right upon you ...
don't let them in/don't let them 'round...
their whole goal is to tear you down...
fly like a bird
above their murky sea...
keep your thoughts positive, and in the light...
because they can't touch you ...
while you're in flight.

Find Your Own Way
TigerEyes Nov 2014
Find your own way
don't ever let anyone tell you
you're too young
or,  too old
Because I know how strong you are...
I know you're bold
Cause you're my daughter shining bright
you don't have to be told
what to say or do...
you already know inside what is true...
so please don't doubt what you hear...
inside
I know you're not one to run away n' hide...
but she's picking out all your clothes now
pearls n' sweaters in pale pinks n' blues
she's turning you ...
into her
I remember when I was young
it's the way things were...
She did this to me
I hope that you can see
      someday
how I was forced to conform
to be...
I suppose she's making you
the daughter she never had in me...
classical music..
cashmere...
my advice to you my beautiful daughter...
always remember to look in the mirror
Stay you...
my beautiful daughter
Stay true.

All Of The Stars
TigerEyes Nov 2014
All of the stars must have lined up....
for
Steel Grey
and,
Hazel May...
It was 1926 in Paris on a cloudy April day
the sun had been out for a few minutes
but fate had a plan making it go away
when he passed her on that cobblestone street
something magical happened
when their eyes began to meet
each soul wanting
the other to keep
forever n ever to have n' to hold
to stay with the other until they were old
It was on this cloudy April day
when fate would have its way...
Steel Grey
fell in love with Hazel May
and, all the stars in heaven
could never keep them apart
they danced together
with magic in their hearts...
you can still see Steel Grey
and, Hazel May
dancing bright
like two angels in flight glimmering n spinning  ...
inside
all of the stars at night.

Misunderstood...
R stands for ****

This Time Next Year
TigerEyes Nov 2014
On my street in my town
this time next year when golden-red leaves
rest upon a green mossy ground
will mark the first year
I let go of my fears
and,
I have released all of my tears
This time next year..
I will have done more for others
instead of myself
I will see where, perhaps...
there are ways I can help...
I'll be grateful for courage
and, my willingness to seek
all the challenges I have been shown to cheerfully meet
I will notice the tall mountain
that I bravely climbed
not turning once
to look down, or - behind
Yes, This time next year ...
I'll have turned over
my leaves
studying their colors
hidden beneath.

The haunting of a story
it always starts like this...
You wake up from a dream
in the middle of the night
the images are so **** clear
along with dialogue you hear...
You swear these ******* characters
are laying in your bed...
instead of ******* up
your brain inside your head...
Finally you just get on up...
saying, "sheeeit, man" ..
I'm just gonna make myself some Starbucks
The Apple pops up on your Mac...
then the haunting of the story you had...
suddenly fades to black.
TigerEyes Nov 2014
The haunting of a story
always starts out like this..
you have a dream in the night
and, it wakes your *** on up...
you lay in bed n' toss n' turn
until you finally say..*&^%
I'll just get the hell on up
n' make a huge *** of my lovely ****'n...Starbucks
You pad on out
on cold tile floor
freezing your *ss off
n' you swear the characters are all alive...
n' you can still hear them chatting back n' forth
You watch the Apple pop on up
on your wonderful computer screen...

when suddenly you can't remember
the fade in:
of your freak'n dream
instead the haunting of a story
is now just ******* with your head....
and, now your wishing just like hell
you had stayed in your **** bed.

The Moon Looks On
TigerEyes Nov 2014
The moon looks on
over a blue ocean
along with the Spirits
and, heavenly Angels
where a family once lived
laughing, crying, smiling...
in the 60's
when they were all once young...
The Beatles played on
a turntable
while my mother hung our clothes
to dry on the freshly cut green lawn
where I carved my name on a tree
by the tire swing
where I skinned my knees
on the rocks, and sea shells
running so free...
with my brothers ...
all three...
where we roasted marshmallow's
in bonfires
with the smell of walnuts from the nearby tree
blowing in the air, I remember the scent of the salty breeze
laughing, crying, smiling...
green lawn that stretched for miles, and miles...
The moon now looks on
over a blue ocean
along with Spirits, and heavenly Angels
where a family once lived
in a beautiful home
painted white
behold
it stands alone
except for the memories it still breathes
with the moon that still looks on
with a background of green luscious lawn...
with eyes for windows
gazing over the blue ocean sea...
Yes, the moon looks on
where a family once belonged.

(Explicit) Raining Tears
TigerEyes Nov 2014
He stole something from her bed
and, it began messing with her head...
A Greek man came into her home
late at night when she was all alone
A naive girl who had wanted to learn a bit
about the culture of this ******
she regretted ever
meeting him
nearly scrubbing off
her entire skin
and, while her tears ..
like water rained on down
her sobs fell deafly to the ground...
for what seemed like hours, and hours...
while she stood weeping
in her shower.

110 Hours
TigerEyes Nov 2014
A lesson for her
in humility
when for so long she flew so high
unscathed/untouched
she had never questioned why
wealth, and security
had always been nearby
until
she was forced to work for others
perhaps less fortunate than her
sweeping floors
she was scrubbing doors...
with tired feet
she kept things neat...
the only thing she wanted more
was to crawl in bed, and sleep.

Buried Treasure
TigerEyes Nov 2014
I will seek
in darkness, and in light
to find every buried treasure
that glistens bright.
hidden /waiting...
to be found
like all the gold that's glistening
within the ground
hidden/waiting...
intuition picks up on every sound
our spirits
really have no bounds.
I know inside
what is true
I see shimmering gold
reflected in the eyes of me, and you.
I will search far, and wide...
for all the answers that may reside
buried deep like fortune
inside my soul
hidden/waiting
for me to hold
I will share
my buried treasure
to all I meet
I will carry this treasure
to their feet.

I'm calling you from miles--
and miles away
my thoughts are with you

there's just one thing I want to say...
I never wanted to say goodbye
cause you're like the stars that shine in the night
I need your love/I need your light
and, you know -- you're the only one that makes me feel
Yeah, you make me feel--
like everything's gonna be alright
So Baby, won't you please pick up your phone
I just wanna hear your voice tonight--
cause I'm feel'n down, and all alone...
Won't you please bring back your love, and fire--
cause, Baby in this whole entire world
don't you know you're the only one that I desire
I'm calling you from miles, and miles away---
you're the only one that makes me feel
Yeah, you make me feel ---this way
I'm wishing on a star in the midnight sky
n' I'm telling the man on the moon...
I never really wanted to tell you ---goodbye---.

In This Dream
TigerEyes Nov 2014
In this dream I'm with you, and we're together,
yeah, you've got your arms resting on my hips
that's when your lips lean into mine
that's when your tender kiss
makes me glow/and I shine....
then you're whispering sweet words in my ear

and, its all the things I want to hear...
in this dream
we're flying through planets in outer space
noticing all the beautiful colors in these amazing shapes...

in this dream we pass the moon
we write a song/yeah, we play a tune...
as you look at me/and, I'm all you see
we're rolling/twisting/at the speed of sound
flying so high above the ground...
now we're shooting through brilliant stars
to a galaxy we know is ours
it is the home we've missed so much...
in this dream I've had night after night
when we land after flight...
we've missed our family's so very much...
because for so long we were out of touch.

but it made the little girl very shy
wondering always if there was something wrong with her...
finally understanding...
it was just the way things were.

Midnight Sonata

I am your midnight sonata under a bright round moon
under the stars by the sea you've been echoing my name
calling me to be by your side in this hour/this moment
our shared century...
you sing to me
piercing my heart with your arrow with precision
through the notes that you play
through all of the notes that you sing...
it feels like a dream..when I am with you
overwhelming me with all of these gifts that you bring...
allow me to breathe in your love
I am your Queen/I am a star in the sky
I am the deep color blue in the ocean sea...
in your midnight sonata
I share all of your  hopes, and your dreams.

Swept Away
TigerEyes Nov 2014
She was swept away on that stormy day
on a maiden ship she did board/dressed up in her finest clothes
and finest pearls
she had put her hair up the night before
to create her lovely curls
yes, she had promised to meet her lover
on a sunny New York day
instead she ended up swept away...
swallowed up in a stormy sea
it happened in the month of May...
Her name was Eloise, and she was like a breeze
of red roses, and that of wine...
when she spoke her words they were never terse
but always sweet, and always kind--
when she would walk on past
the gentlemen would gasp
at such grace n' beauty that she did display
they would scramble to tip their hats
trying to take in all her beauty
something to hold onto/something to make it last
Eloise was swept away on a stormy rainy day
she promised to meet her lover
on a sunny New York day
instead her lover waited every day for Eloise
to show up in the month of May.

yeah, while on the street
If you stare into my eyes,
you might see a reflection of all the darkness/all the lies

you might see tears welling up in my blue eyes
you might see a person living in disgrace...

Darkness has settled in..

A shared free fall:
definition
it's when you're in a room swimming with a sea of humanity
the doors are closed, and you can't breathe
but neither can the person sitting next to you...
still some of them/they still smile at you
when you tell them their baby is cute
even though it's just wiped graham crackers
on the book you're reading
n' you're all in the same boat
Yeah, you're just trying to stay afloat...
waiting for your name to be called
Everyone is trying not to let fear take them down
because their bottom has dropped out
a free fall
like a broken cable
in an elevator shaft
you wonder if you're the only one
that feels this way
until you glance over at the very young girl
sitting next to you
her face is like stone
n' her eyes look dark/they're black as coal/
like the've seen too much of the coldness in this world..
suddenly you're not thinking about your bottom that's dropped out...

in a castle that floats up in the sky
you can float on pink magic carpets
up so high
Dragons say hello as they fly by...
Little Fairies bring you presents all day
begging you to come out n' play...
And couples stay together forever n' ever...
Because they know they've found treasure.

Touch hearts when you can
reach out to your fellow man
look into their eyes n' use your words wise
say the exact thing
from your heart
n' this way you'll bring
a connection that sings
n' all the gifts it can bring..
in this way you'll see
your own reflection....
to infinity>>>

I remember you came home wasted on that cold November day
making sure that I would pay
because I would not kneel at your feet
No, I would not obey...
You made it clear with your threats
that I would pay in someway
Yeah, with your nashing teeth that I'd obey
or, you'd be sure to throw me out on the street..
with my daughter at my feet...
we ran out that night in the cold
Yeah, we jumped out the window with my phone
and, here we are down the road
I'm still not doing what I've been told
You're keeping your promise you made to me
hell bent on making me see...
that you are right...
just for the record you terrified us that night
the conclusion/ and it is this...
that all along..
you think that you're always gonna be right
n' I will always be the one ..
that's gonna be wrong.

Is it really Sunday? I thought it was Monday...
I can..
go back to bed, or read for awhile
or, take a walk with a smile
I got up at four
thinking that I had to
head out the door...
Well, that being said,
I think I'll go
back to bed.

I am traveling on a new road now
I am on my own
but, I don't feel alone...
I have my words to arrange
and, it may sound strange..
these characters I am creating keep me company
throughout my long writing days
This new road I am on will twist, and bend
I will have to pay attention to the road signs ahead
it is a road trip, and I have packed a suitcase full of words
and, it may sound absurd...
but, my characters are all next to me
they're so excited about what they might see..
on this new road where I find myself on my own...
and yet,  I am never alone.

(Explicit) In My Dreams
TigerEyes Nov 2014
In my dreams I'm trying to remember who's chasing me
I remember now it's Miss TNT holding a grenade
She's about to blow
n'  I don't know
when..
I'm kicking my feet ...
My Nikes are moving so fast down the street
I glance back over my shoulders briefly n' then face the street again
n' the street has turned into a track field in front of me
I can hear Miss TNT's cleats pounding n' I turn and, then I see
A monster with big scary claws
n' her teeth are sharp and, pointing out of her scary jaw
and, she's out for blood because I've ****** her off in the past
n' the hatred in her eyes feels like it's going to last n' last...
I'm wishing that she'd just get a life n' leave me alone...
I yell out, "******* ***** go chew on a bone!"
Her scary jaw opens up n' there's blood in her mouth
I realize now it's all gone South
cause she's crunching down on me now with glee in her eyes
so happy that she's eaten the person that she so despised.

She was waiting at the train station
gazing into her hand mirror
when she saw a man wearing an overcoat
his face in full view
captured inside her little hand mirror...
Her steely green eyes flashed...
he brought out a bag of cash..
a plan had been made
She was a spy that always
won in spades...
her full lips painted in red lipstick
she wore a white coat dress with ******* buttons
a designer Armani belt...
black pumps, n' fishnet's
her heart racing/beating fast
she had found true love at last...

and, for all the beauty she held inside
like secrets within rolling oceans tides
She was waiting for him to hold her close..

It didn't matter that they were on opposite sides
she wanted him to sweep her up
risking her life...
she wanted more than anything to be on his side
while under moonlit stars
she waited for him to propose...
his footsteps slowly walking up her...
he was holding a single red rose.

What I liked about today...
I watched a father holding his little girl
she was wearing big yellow bows in her hair
everyone was having fun today/at the big State Fair..
n' she held a red balloon in her little hand
he was whirling her around the dance floor
everyone was smiling at them/so did the local band
What I liked about today...
I watched a hummingbird hover right front of me
I thought to myself/this is such a sight to see..
What I liked about today...
I watched the sun set in a blue winter sky
I thought /my oh/my...
If we just take time to notice all the little things
there's so much beauty in this world
n' all the wonderful joy that it can bring.

Magic lived in a small town down in Tennessee where everybody knew everybody's business by noon.  She never knew why her mother had named her Magic. She just knew she was the target of some wicked gossip, and it all usually started by one person.  Jane Goodwill.

They both attended the one room school house up on the hill. They shared the same birthday. And they were both 13, and had eyes that sparkled like when the sun lights up the Ocean on a bright day. Magic never knew why Jane Goodwill hated her so much. She just knew to cross the street when she saw her coming toward her.

It was the kind of town where practically every family owned at least one hound dog, five chickens, two horses, a tractor, and one of those cheap above ground pools in their backyard.

And it was expected that you were to be in church on Sunday, or, you could be sure as Monday be seeing, Mrs. Twitchet, in front of your face waving her index finger telling you how you were going straight to hell.
That is -- if she ran into you at the local hardware store where they also sold grocery's along with chicken feed, and hay.

Mrs. Twitchet was made a widow that year. She had a figure shaped like a large plump oversized pear, and she always brought her deep fried chicken, and fresh apple pies to the church potluck on Sunday's. She liked to sing the "Special Music" while she played the *****. Magic always thought it was funny watching her flirt, making eyes with Mr. Platt, who had also been made a widow that same year.

Magic's father had disappeared the day she was born. And for some reason Mrs. Goodwill always acted strange whenever Magic passed her on the street.

To be continued.,

I know there are lessons to be learned from all this
that's taken me so far away from bliss
I'm growing a brand new garden
I'm sewing pretty flower seeds
This time next Spring I'll be a beautiful flower
that had the strength n' courage to grow a whole new me.

Mom can you make a list of what you see in me?
I  just want a reminder of the goodness
that's inside my heart/that rests inside of me
I'll tape it to the fridge/or, on the kitchen wall
Do you think you could give me a call?
Or, you could just put it in a letter
so I can begin to feel a little better...
I'll be reminded
that I am worthy of receiving love
within this Universe
Because right now it feels like I've been cursed..
Please tell me what you see...
remind me of all the goodness
that still rests inside my heart/that's dormant inside of me.

You know I move at the speed of sound...
I'm moving on where I belong
I am a River/you know I am strong/I am water over stones
water over hills/I am water flowing through
fluid ocean streams/moving on where I belong...
I am an Eagle/flying above in blue suede sky's
let me fly...

as above/so below
I am strong..
let me flow/ like a River
I'm moving on ...
to the place where I belong.

night after night.

I've been pulled up toward your naked sun
tell me this /this is true/this is real
it has all begun...
This flame inside is burning/burning/burning
a true love like a newfound song/a total yearning
Yearning, yearning, yearning...
Cool me down/hold me down/I want to feel your warm breathe on me
all around/Yeah, all around/You're my hero/you're so strong
Pull me in/Yeah, all night long---
I confess I've thought about you many times, honey
throughout my day during all my stillness...
wondering the things you'd whisper/yeah, what you'd say
looking out my kitchen window in a daydream way
It can be the smallest thing where I find I've pulled you in...
I'm inside your naked sun being tossed n' turned
a flame that stays lit all night long
I feel your gentle soul that's so real/yeah, so kind/so strong
your soul feels like it's inside mine
so in this life/we toss n' turn/within a shared dance
in this life/Yeah, in this/a lifetime of total chance...
Where our moments together just last/and last/where we laugh n' dance n' dance...
Where there is no time/Yeah, there's no space/I've met you again
You are the one love/the one soul I crave...
again, and again
tumbling n' tossing all over /yeah, all over
forever n' ever/all over n' over again.

How can I express how grateful I am for you
in the white December snow you came to me
You/my daughter/my angel/my sweet angel girl
Did you know I used to dress you up?
and, give you a cute little curl
Your intelligence is beyond those of scholars...
not because of me
it was who you were meant to
always be.

There was a girl I knew once with an honest name
her name was River n' we flew to Spain
We talked all through the night
n' we were both writers/to our delight --
n' we laughed, and cried
during the whole ****
flight...
I got to know her very well
she was a mystic
that could cast a spell
on anyone
with sunshine laughter/that rang like bells
I wish I could find that girl named River once again...
I'd thank her
as a friend...
She got lost during flight...
somewhere between dawn n' night
I turned around, and she was gone...
she was a treasure/an unheard song
the kind you want to hear /all night long

That girl named River/ she was me...
I buried her that night /in the Sea.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. She wanted to hide. It was the Wikipedia man. Oh, god how he'd tell her how this band first wrote this song, and then it was developed later. And she just wasn't in the mood for Wikipedia man. The man that never let her get a word in edge wise. It exhausted her. She wanted to lay down and take a nap after she closed the door, and he left, with his cheap coupon chinese food. He meant well of course -- he just wore her out with all his words. She'd rather write them down in solitude by candlelight. With no interruptions. She had enough thoughts running through her head. She found comfort in the quiet. The stillness.

Another thing - it was just that he was always so broke all the time. She'd rather watch "Girls", and eat popcorn -- alone.

I mean, I own a library card. I'm not from -- Kansas. Not that women in Kansas are lame. That's not my point.

I know lots of things. It's just I don't need to hear them from Wikipedia Man.

I'm going to go write a novel now.
