I'm 18 years old. All these 18 years, I've been alone, living in nearly complete silence. I always enjoyed being lonely and silent.
But since my near-death, this has changed. Now I hate being lonely, it eats away at me, it breaks me down. I used to live by silence, now the silence is slowly killing. The silence screams at me, telling me things I don't like. "You're nothing.", "You're no good to anyone.", "People don't want you around.". The silence burnt these words into my mind, I get reminded of them every day. I try so hard to just have at least 1 friend in my life, but now, I'm convinced even that is too much to ask...
I've written quite some poems, and I'd appreciate if you guys would let me know what you think about them, what I should change and what I should leave the same.
be washed away

(with spoken word inserts
by soulsurvivor)

When I die don't cry for me
In my Father's arms I'll be
The wounds this world
left on my soul
Will all be healed and I'll be whole
Sun and moon will be replaced
By the light of Jesus Face
And I will not be ashamed
For my Savior knows my name.

- chorus -
It don't matter where you bury me
I'll be Home and I'll be FREE
It don't matter where I lay
All my tears be washed away

SS insert -
Persecution I'll expect.
It's not surprising. Folks reject.
Still I LOVE my Lord so dear
I'll forgive and have no fear
Faced with evil on all sides
In the Lord I will abide
No force of hell can remove Thee
It don't matter where you bury me

---

Gold and silver blind the eye
Temporary riches lie
Come and eat from heaven's store
Come and drink and thirst no more
So weep not for me my friend
When my time below does end
For my life belongs to Him
Who will raise the dead again

- chorus -

SS insert -
I will pass. That much is clear.
I'll leave my tabernacle here
Life is short, the time doth fly
So I'll go to kiss the sky
Then I'll know all mysteries
It don't matter where you bury me

I feel SO blessed to know the Lord Jesus Christ. I have reposted this song as I believe it to be a VERY important message.

I don't doubt that the Lord waits for those who are faithful. He delivers them out of their troubles. You don't have to die for this to happen either. If you are redeemed by His blood you've had a transfusion and are HIS CHILD. If you think your earthly dad was protective he was NOTHIN' compared to GOD!

Sorry I have not been able to read much. Or respond to comments. I have elderly parents to care for. And every time I go to get on site I get the "bad gateway"!!! Are you all experiencing this as well???

Please don't mind me..
I am just here to observe..
I hope I do not make you nervous in any way..
But to witness what you are about to do only happens in 12 of our lifetimes..
If you succeed I will show you the next beyond..
And it may come as a surprise..
But the next beyond is where you stand..
Sub atomic world under your feet..
Just as you have found that you yourself are sub atomic also..
You have found your God..
Just as I have found mine..
All along, we were inside never out..

Shadows evade my eyes in your light..
The winds blow your hair under the bright moon....
I sometimes see you there..
Absent of all shadows..
As pure as pure can be..
No sort of dimness to you at all..
Why do you come to me..?
Why do you love me..?
You are my assurance that everything will be fine..
All worry leaves my soul..
Today I will hold your hand..
angels, truth, light and pure being..

On the other side of this galaxy a light calls to me..  I travel on Star light wings to the shining light surrounded by a wicked darkness..  I find a planet much like mine there.   It is engulfed in a dark cloud of unnatural ash and smoke.. But there is a splinter of light that shines through the ash filled sky..   I fly toward the light and feel its heavenly warmth..   I see and feel the presence of a being down on the surface whom is battling the armies of hades and hell..  A planet full of demons and devils are trying to dim this warriors light..  He is the last of his kind..  He is cutting through them with two magnificent  blades made from sun light and moon light..  But he is growing weary and can barely stand..  He then drops down to one knee and puts both swords on the ground..  He prays,  "  And my final hour, I have loved you, I have remembered you, I have forgiven you.. I have slayed as much darkness as I can..  This will be the end of all of us..  But not without me making the darkness bleed.. With your light and love I ask that you please send to me the angel of the stars.. So that they may take me high above where I become a painting made up of star light for all eternity.. I ask this in prayer amen."   And so I pass through the ash filled sky and roar the roar of the Dragon..  The armies of demons and devils stop in awe at what they see before them.. I stand behind this last man here on this planet.. I then unleash a beam of light into the sky and burn away all the ash above..  The sunlight returns and begins to burn the demons and devils away..   With light wings I fly around the dark side of this planet and shine away all that is wicked away..  I then meet up with the last man before I depart..  I give to him a relic given to me by my fellow mage Osiris.. The relic of the star tear.. This is your prayer..  Become the angel of the stars..
The angel has arrived..
Promise me
When my hands begin to tremble
You’ll place your hand in mine
When my eyes become hollow
You’ll gaze into them
When I’m at a loss for words
You’ll kiss me so the silence
Can speak for the both of us.
It started when he had brought a box
He’d bought, back home from the fair,
The size of an average tinder box
In brass, and embossed with care,
The scene was the site of a battlefield
Where the redcoats marched as one,
In the face of the French artillery
Looking down the mouth of a gun.

And on the right was a drummer boy
Who drummed to the marching feet,
He gazed ahead but his eyes were dead
As he kept up a steady beat,
A moment of peril embossed in time
When nations ruled by the gun,
The redcoats all in a staggered line
With the battle not yet won.

‘And how did you come by that,’ she said,
His wife, when he brought it home,
‘I should know better than let you out
With a pound, when you’re on your own.
The gypsies see you abroad, my lad
And they say, ‘Now there’s our mark!
They’d pick you out of a thousand folk
Out there, a-stroll in the park.’

‘It wasn’t a gypsy, Jen,’ he said,
‘But an old, sad military man,
Struggling on a pension for
His bread, as best he can.’
‘You’re just as soft as the next one, Bill,
They’d steal a beggar’s cup,
But now that you’ve got your tinder box
Let’s see, just open it up.’

‘I can’t, it’s locked with a type of lock
That I’ve never seen before,
It’s rusted on, and there is no key,
It’s a work of art for sure.’
He set it down by their rustic hearth
Where it looked so very fine,
A piece from their ancient history
Where the soldiers stood in line.

That night they woke to the distant sound
Of a battle, lost and won,
The sound of cheers, of clashes, tears
To the beat of a distant drum,
And Jen was lying there frozen as
She clung to her husband’s arm,
‘What have you brought on home to us?’
She cried, in her alarm.

The morning saw her attack the lock
With a hammer to no avail,
The lock, it might have been rusty but
Was solid, strong and hale,
And Bill said ‘Stop! You will ruin it,
There’s nothing there to hide,
I bought it more for the picture than
What might there be inside.’

Each night the sound of a battle filtered
Out of that tinder box,
The sounds of the muskets firing, of
Whizz-bangs and battle shocks,
And through it all was the steady sound
Of the little drummer’s beat,
It rose up out of the battleground
With the sound of marching feet.

They finally cut the lock away
With a coarse old hacksaw blade,
It took a couple of hours that day
So sturdy was it made.
Then Bill said ‘Your curiosity
Has made me wreck the lock,
So now, there’s nothing to stop you, Jen,
Just open up the box.’

The lid flew up and the sight she saw
Was enough to make her faint,
For there, the skull of the drummer boy
Lay with its coat of paint,
And blood, red blood was the skull in there
Though the teeth were pearly white,
A bullet hole in the frontal lobe
That had kissed the boy goodnight.

And folded there, but beneath the skull
Was the skin of the drummer’s drum,
Blackened, torn and beyond repair
It had sounded for everyone.
It’s buried now with the drummer’s skull,
It’s resting beneath a tree,
And never sounds, for its war is won,
It’s where it was meant to be.
