or what you believe in
it's what you do
when you're alone with your god and your thoughts

of a short but blunt
and simple poem
can temporarily
cast out the
demons that
roam inside
my head
i look at myself from distance and
i look like a stranger.
i am nothing like
i imagine myself to be.
i am not special.
i hurt people
I have never
Known anyone
Who hated
And loved me
Like you do
The fire keeps me warm
And burns me alive.
