Sit down and talk to a stranger
Get rid of that fear there is danger
They’ll probably make you smile
You need that once in a while
To get to know someone new
Make them part of your crew
Because diversity is very cool
Something we all learned in grade school

Greed possesses foolish men.
Fate is real, luck is play pretend.
All life must face an end,
this we all comprehend.
Yet we all contend, making amends
For shiny stuff, we can't take with us, in the end.

Nothing is as beautiful as the transformation of the human face.
The journey of a smile as it licks at the lips and dances into the eyes.
The adventure of laughter as it opens the mouth and tickles the throat.
The reclusiveness of sadness as it travels down the cheeks and wets them with tears.
The intensity of concentration as it furrows the brow and quickens the breath.
The turmoil of fear as it flares the nostrils and grinds the teeth.
The restfulness of sleep as it closes the eyelids and brings relief.
Stop looking down
Why do you decide
To walk a fine line?

There's more to this world
And you deserve better
Than tiptoeing a wire
That limits
Your direction

And another...
Between the pink sunrise of birth and peach and gold sunset of death there is you and your deeds.
Live wisely.

Chantell Wild
whispers the wind on deaf ears
sleeping monsters lie at the bottom
of silent oceans
deep damp depths defy deference
to the deities of the dark
swallowing water as a bird gulps air
the shadow below unfurls
and stretches itself out
embraces the tidal wave
that gives birth upon earth
to a new kind of monster
( ? )

we come from a watery womb
and much as there is love
my god,
we have some monsters amongst us.

take back the light,
monsters.

come back to the Light.

why do you tease me so
querulous and catty and quirky
the many faces you have
delights so svelte, online media
you write almost tangible
and your beautiful braid-dangles

stupid thoughts, bad cup
pollen from the dandelions
breeze by, heron umbrella
of Autumn's shadow--
the ghosts of never again haunt here
despite you sweetening
the edible tangles
