words fell
    like broken
        glass
                from
your lips
                onto
bloodstained
                       carpet
lacerations
              searing your
bruised heart,
      transplanting
              its jagged rips
into mine
  beats sharply feathered
like injured
                wings,
angel eyes
   pigmented my color,
    blinded by a
cool sheen
hiding behind
                 tears
You are but a child,
young fresh entity
yet know the weight
of heavy
    and suddenly
nothing else
       matters
only your light
in my world,
however
         dark you get
nothing material
can fix it and I will
stop it all
to press
the button
          of time
and give
you
the
       world
for my son

Rebel Heart
"Nothing's wrong"

Nothing except I'm a burden

"It's whatever"

It's driving me insane

"The new bracelets? I just like them"

They hide my paintings

"It's nothing"

It's everything and it's killing me

"It's just a scratch, forget it"

My paintbrush is a bit sharp

"It's barely bleeding"

Red's my favorite color

"I'm just a little tired"

I just want to go home and paint again

"Nothing a little sleep can't fix"

I always said I'd sleep when I'm dead anyway

"I love all of you guys"

I'm sorry...

"I'll be fine"

Once I finally finish my masterpiece

"See you tomorrow"*

But tomorrow won't ever come...
Not for me anyway
So soon the jagged strokes of her paintbrush overwhelmed the canvas on her wrist....

Grey mirror
Yes I'm a plus size
Because of this I was bias
I judged myself from the outside.
But when I look at the inside
my heart is a plus size too!
I have room to groom
To love to care
To open up to the broken hearted,
I have stories to share
And this is my story
To be use for God's glory.
You are all beautiful and created for a purpose.

I sit here
wonder why
I slowly die inside
giving my all
I sit here

I get drunk to not think about you,
yet you slip through the cracks,
every night you dance in my thoughts,
just to fade when I open my eyes;

I hold onto the scars that remain
because that's all I can bear to
keep after we were over;
I kept the wounds open just to hurt

Sometimes I touch my heart
where you rested your head
& I cry alone at night when
you aren't here laying down

It doesn't really matter, though,
staying stuck in the past hurts;
looking to the future without you,
that is truly what doesn't matter
I think the worst scars are the ones you couldn't have prevented.
